IDP Studs in Waiting?

I apologize if this is already posted somewhere...I've been playing FF for over a decade but I'm very new to IDP. I'm now familiar with top tier guys at each position, but who are the guys 'waiting in the wings' so to speak? I'm assuming there are supposed replacements/players stuck on the depth chart for guys like Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Charles Woodson, London Fletcher, etc, and while said guys might not be redraft worthy, I'm trying to help folks in dynasties out (such as myself) for 2013 and beyond. Any lists/advice appreciated. Thanks!

20 team - 43 player roster - dynasty idp.

we are getting into the late round of my FA draft and was wondering what your thoughts are on these FA LBs. Im looking for some good value guys that i'll be able to sit on for a 1 and then either put them into my starting lineup or trade for some good value.

So with Suggs out, it's anticipated that Upshaw will start for Suggs immediately. What's people best guess of his position declaration by the Ravens? LB or DE?

If he's a LB he's worthless but if declared a DE playing the Suggs pseudo-LB role, he could be top 10 DL this season! What's to expect?

Is there anything left? His production has gone down the past couple years, and with the signing of Lofton he could be out of a job in NO. I'm not sure I should hold on for a year.

Rookie Draft Results (IDP league)

I noticed the requests for a combined IOP and IDP ranking. I hadn't seen any rookie draft results for IDP's either. So I figured I'd kick one off.

10 team-contract/auction-PPR league. Start 11 IDP. 53 man rosters. 2 round draft. Solo and assist get 1 point each. Sacks get 4 points plus yardage of .1 point per yard.

Pick owner can either select a player for a pre-determined slot price or let the other owners bid on that player while retaining an option to match the high bid.

I'm listing them in order of price paid but the pick used is also listed. Obviously, the match-auction element adds a level of strategy and shakes up the order quite a bit.

2012 Every-Down Linebacker Thread

This thread will (eventually) be linked in the pinned IDP Warehouse thread and will be bumped with every update to this initial post (usually on Wednesdays) during the regular season.

We've proven in recent seasons that dismissing the importance of knowing which linebackers come off the field on passing downs is a recipe for statistical disaster. Backers who don't play in their team's subpackages often miss at least 40% of their team's defensive snaps over a full season and may miss 70-80% of their team's snaps in any given week. This will be the third season that we'll closely track each team's every-down backers in this thread.

I'll use a combination of film study and internet resources to confirm these names during the season, but during the preseason months, this list will be our best guess at which backers would play every-down if the season started today. For the purposes of discussion, we�ll list any linebacker expected to take at least 80% of his team�s snaps each week regardless of subpackage usage.

Hey Jene, are you going to publish your combined offense/IDP rookie draft board again this year?

I loved last year's edition, and I used it almost exclusively in all of my rookie drafts. I love the format of seeing all of the players across the board with relative values. This format make so much more sense than just a listing or even a listing with tiers.

LIke many out there, all of my rookie drafts start this weekend, so if you can publish this soon, it would be greatly appreciated!

Why type of prospect is this kid? Obviously he is the #1 IDP off the board this year but is he worth a late 1st in a 12 team PPR with pretty standard scoring? Is he an automatic LB2 this year with LB1 upside? Carolina seems to be a high scoring IDP destination for LB's so is it a good fit? Any thoughts and opinions is welcome. Thank you!!

What do you think of Larry Grant? In the 4 games he started last year he was a complete beast averaging 18 points a game for the injuried Patrick Willis. Was it more of the system then it was the talent or do you think he has the ability to be a top 10 LB for the league some day.

Do you think I should draft him, im my upcoming FA draft and put him on for like a 5 year deal?

Boley and Rivers

There has been much talk about Giants being involved with a trade with the Bangels. Im not sure of what the Giants would be giving up but they would be acquiring Keith Rivers.

There has also been talks that Boley would be moved to middle linebacker. Thus putting rivers on the weak side to fill his spot.

If Rivers goes to the Giants and Boley gets moved to MLB how do you like their values?

Linebackers.... of the future!

So im in a 20 man IDP dynasty league with IDP. We start 11 off 11 def (2dt,2de,3lb,2cb,2s). I have a few aging linebackers right now Fletcher, Nick Burnett, Harrison. Are FA draft is coming up in a month and I was wondering if you have any active players that are just waiting for someone to leave or retire and will step up with major playing rolls.

I know of players like Riley, Sheppard, and Sylvester behind those guys but only sylvester isn't rostered and the owner of riley and shappard doesn't accept trades no matter what.

So who are some of your 2013+ stars?
