wow - great talent available at this point, several of whom could end up top 3 for the next few seasons. Went Moss.

Went with Moss, but it's close between he, Wayne and Boldin... I also like Braylon Edwards believe it or not, I think he's back to elite status after next season, and he's the youngest of this group (except Bowe).

I can't understand why Moss is this low. I would have a hard time thinking that other people would really draft 8 wr's before Randy Moss is an initial Dynasty draft.

He very well has 3-5 years left of 1200-1500 yards and 10-14 td's

Even when Randy gets alittle slower he will still be a monster in the redzone.

BTW: I voted Randy Moss

Well, would you rather 3-5 years of that or 6-8 years? I agree that Randy/S. Smith/Wayne should be considered roughly together, though. I wasn't one who voted for Smitty as high as some.

Wayne over Moss amazes me.

Wayne, finally as the true #1, managed 82/1145/6. He'll be 31 this year so I don't see his #'s going up much higher than that from this point forward. I've never seen him as an elite talent and the loss of Harrison probably had a lot to do with that. As he's only hit double digit TDs twice in his career, if he doesn't hit 1300+ yds, I just don't see him ever being a true #1 anymore. Moss had a "down" year with Cassel overthrowing him all year long and still scored more than Wayne in 2008.

With him being only 1 year younger than Moss, give me Moss's upside with Brady likely coming back over the next 2 yrs "and it's not even close".

Can we start getting Royal added, Ryan?
Agree. If you're going to have Welker on the list Royal at least deserves to be on the list.
Housh?CJ?Crabtree?
I like Royal, but Royal owners are obviously stoked their rookie caught 90 balls. Only 1 season under his belt, would like to see 1 more season before vaulting him to Welker status. Welker has caught 223 balls the past 2 seasons. His spot is justified. Holmes, Housh, Chad, Evans and Anthony Gonzalez will all enter the discussion soon.

Welker in his first season caught zero passes. Your justification for having Welker on but not Romo doesn't fly. Not that Welker doesn't belong here yet but it is asinine to not have Royal on this list. That is who got my vote and I don't even own Royal.

Gotta go with Bowe here. If he gets in any kind of decent offense he's TO with a better attitude.

Complete beast. One of the most physically appealing WR's in the game.

I was saying this stuff about Moss in the wr-5 thread and was looked at like I had 3 eyes. Wayne is over ratted. Solid low end #1 not a top 5 wr in a dynasty.

I've been voting for Moss since #4.

Hard to believe Moss hasn't been chosen yet, so I voted for him. Since I think he should've been chosen long ago, I would argue Boldin is the "right" choice for this slot. Particularly if he lands in Philly

Moss: 2008 68 995 11 Wayne: 2008 81 1130 6 I would take Wayne over Moss... but they are very close

First of all, Moss had 69/1008/11 and Wayne had 82/1145/6. So the difference is 13 more catches for 137 yds for Wayne but 5 more TDs for Moss. But big difference is Wayne had Peyton throwing him the ball and Moss had Cassel. Now reintroduce Brady into the equation and their talent and tell me if you still want Wayne.

Wayne for sure, can't believe it's even close. Dynasty people... how many years does Moss really have? It's not like he's a great route runner.

Going to go ahead and close this one. it is very close, but Moss has been ahead of the rest for almost the entire poll.

You guys can have Moss as your WR1. I don't draft players who play when they want. He has all the talent, but he's not very dependable. Those of you who think he has a great deal left in the tank will probably be disappointed.

I think I get your point, but it's worth pointing out that he's missed a total of 6 games in his 11 year career.

Point taken, but that wasn't the area of dependableness I was speaking of. It boils down to a matter of opinion. I would be more tempted to take Bowe or Braylon (who is being even more undervalued than Moss) before I take someone who might have a couple of quality years left. Who cares if he has Brady throwing to him. Marvin had Peyton throwing to him last year.
