How do you think this will affect steven jackson as well as marc bulger. I own both of them, and this is making me a little uneasy hearing those news.
I hope you're saying this because you're only going off the stat line and not what you saw yesterday with your own eyes.I am a SJ owner, and I am concerned, and it has nothing to do with the center . . . he still takes too long to get going; he had several runs for negative yardage yesterday . . .
I agree Denver is no slouch run defense and S.Jackon broke some nice runs in that game.Look at where the Broncos run defense finished last year..... #2!! That's why! This is SJax's breakout yr.
I watched the entire game . . .his longest run came when the game was over and the Denver defense had nothing to play for . . .I hope you're saying this because you're only going off the stat line and not what you saw yesterday with your own eyes.I am a SJ owner, and I am concerned, and it has nothing to do with the center . . . he still takes too long to get going; he had several runs for negative yardage yesterday . . .
We must have been watching different Rams / Denver games then. The game I watched, I saw SJax hit the hole hard & fast, when there was one, quickly hitting the second level where it took two, sometimes three guys to drag him down. The dude was a freakin' beast. My concern was that in the red zone, the Rams inexplicably went away from the running game in favor of the pass. I think they'll correct that play calling though.Sorry you got the feed for the bad Rams / Denver game.I watched the entire game . . .his longest run came when the game was over and the Denver defense had nothing to play for . . .I hope you're saying this because you're only going off the stat line and not what you saw yesterday with your own eyes.I am a SJ owner, and I am concerned, and it has nothing to do with the center . . . he still takes too long to get going; he had several runs for negative yardage yesterday . . .
I guess you didnt see all those runs where he was running east/west and got tracked down quickly . . .We must have been watching different Rams / Denver games then. Yep. That's where there was no hole.I guess you didnt see all those runs where he was running east/west and got tracked down quickly . . .We must have been watching different Rams / Denver games then. that's where you need to stick your head in the hole and get 1 or 2; he was decent yesterday, but at times he thinks that he's Barry Sanders . . . he isn't . . . those negative plays kill the offense . . . and the OL isn't getting any better . . . SJax is doing the same stuff he was doing last year . . .Yep. i watched the same game this guy did. I like Jackson, he's a damn good RB, but he's still dancing too much.that's where you need to stick your head in the hole and get 1 or 2; he was decent yesterday, but at times he thinks that he's Barry Sanders . . . he isn't . . . those negative plays kill the offense . . . and the OL isn't getting any better . . . How is he supposed stick his head in a non existent hole? Where there ain't a hole, there ain't a hole. You see this happen with all RB's at times, LT2, Portis, LJ etc...etc...etc...Agreed the line could play better at times, especially Barron.that's where you need to stick your head in the hole and get 1 or 2; he was decent yesterday, but at times he thinks that he's Barry Sanders . . . he isn't . . . those negative plays kill the offense . . . and the OL isn't getting any better . . . I'm just saying, he has a penchant for this, he did the same thing last year . . . again, I am an SJ owner in a dynasty league, so I lived with his inconsistency last year . . . btw, my RB#2 is Caddy, so I shouldnt be complaining about Sjax . . .How is he supposed stick his head in a non existent hole? Steven Jackson had defenders draped all over him on every single run. The fact that he managed to get positive yardage at all is a testament to his running ability. The team's blocking was horrible, but he took a lot of Denver defenders for a ride yesterday.I am a SJ owner, and I am concerned, and it has nothing to do with the center . . . he still takes too long to get going; he had several runs for negative yardage yesterday . . .
Linehan had some problems in the red zone while in Miami for what its worth. We must have been watching different Rams / Denver games then.
