Kevin Walter vs Jacoby Jones (1 Viewer)

I know Walter had a huge day Sunday, but was it a fluke. If you had to have one of those two for the rest of the season, who would it be?

Jacoby's a bigger big play threat, but he also drops a lot of passes.

Due to his consistency and better blocking, Walter is going to see the field more. I don't know if the translates into better production, but I think he's the guy I'd go for this year.

Walter saw 2 targets in week 1, compared to 11 in week 2. Jones was a bit more consistent at 6 and 9 targets. Interestingly, Walter has caught 100% of the balls thrown at him so far.

I have both but it looks like Walter's is still #2. Although Jones should still see a decent amount of looks. I'm going to try Walters this week ,last year he was banged up and this year he's looking good and is fighting for his #2 spot.

Before his injury, Walter was a legit low WR2/high WR3. As long as he's healthy, I see no reason why he doesn't remain so.

Jones will have 4 or 5 long TDs over the season, but I think Schaub trusts Walter more so he will be the steady producer IMO.

Why a fluke?Maybe not as big of numbers, but he has had great multi-TD games before.Owen Daniels is down, I think that is the key for Walter.

IIRC, Walter was putting up 800-900 yds and 6 TDs in 2007 and 2008, then last year he was in and out of the line up with injuries. But the Texans gave him good money in the off season, not huge dollars but a good healthy contract so you know they are going to dial him up some. I would bet that is the high mark for Walter this season but honestly, defenses have to shut down AJ, now Foster, whether it's Walter or Jones they are going to be open all the time.

My point exactly. I was asking if others thought it was a fluke or maybe was last weeks 2 catches a fluke.

I agree with this. Jones returns punts, so for those in leagues that get return yardage that closes the gap some between the two.
