Monday night game thread (1 Viewer)

i like Tedy Bruschi as a analyst on ESPN. Nice to see ESPN get someone who knows what they are talking about and is also well-spoken, unlike Ditka, Keyshawn, and Cris Carter.

Sadly, the only reason I'll be watching this game is for the returns. I've never seen Cribbs live...lets see what the so called greatest returner in NFL history can do...

I think it would be funny for one of the Ravens to just start laughing at Ray Lewis when he does he pregame "thing."

"You play for Cleveland? I didnt know they still had a team."

"Yeah, we got uniforms and everything, it's really great."

I appreciate the play by play updates as I'm unable to watch tonight's game...quite interested how Cribbs does.

I was as wrong about Brady Quinn as I've been about any QB coming out of college since Ryan Leaf. Like Leaf, I thought he had everything. You could never be sure, but I figured he had as much chance as anybody to be the next elite NFL QB. I guess he still could be, but he's been so disappointing thus far in his career...

Gruden is magical in the booth.

If the ravens wore their throwback uniforms, they would be the browns. lol

:) at the Gruden kid Browns bit. At least something is entertaining here. Now I remember why I wasn't going to watch this.

Mangini must absolutely hate Jerome Harrison. He got significant action in one game this year. In that game he had 152 rushing / receiving yards combined. So now instead of giving him some more action, they are playing Chris Jennings. Any other Browns fans have any insight on this?

Who is this Chris Jennings that keeps getting the ball?
This is what I want to know. And why is he getting so many carries?
Chris Jennings was one of our preseason darlings. ran hard and looked solid. James Davis had such a great preseason that a lot of people overlooked it. I loved what I saw from Jennings though. seemed to have nice quicks and power.ETA: stuck not being able to see the game, but from seeing the game logs, it looks like we're showing a little bit of life.

Rotoworld today:
Browns rookie RB Chris Jennings has reportedly been getting more practice reps than Jerome Harrison for the past two weeks.
I know nothing about the kid except he went to Arizona and played one game in the CFL.

Pass protection. And, Harrison is notorious for making boneheaded plays... although, I will say that I have seen improvement in both areas this year. Who knows what happens in practice though?

From what I've seen, Jennings is a north-south bruiser who runs with a bit of violence. Limited sample size though.

James Davis took the headlines. Jennings had a solid preseason. At one point they thought Jennings will take the torch from Lewis.
