Peyton Hillis' dynasty value? (1 Viewer)

Hey, just wondering what people thought of Peyton Hillis' dynasty value? I could make a move for him, but I was wondering what people thought about a potential threat of Hardesty.

Same thing with Houston's backs. Foster has been blowing it up, does Ben Tate do anything when he is healthy next year?

If Mangini continues to be a giant tool I would expect Hillis to get 95% of the carries for the rest of the year and all of next year until he gets injured.

I think Hardesty is a bigger threat to Hillis than Tate is to Foster. If Hardesty is healthy (big if) I could see it as a full blown RBBC next season... if Mangini is gone I could see Cleveland signing or drafting someone to compete.

Hillis and Foster have earned the right to be 'the man' heading into next season. Hardesty and Tate haven't proven anything and are now the clear back-ups that have to clearly outshine the starters on Sundays to get their real opportunities. The biggest issues (besides injuries) that could take down those two are ball security (Hillis) and focus/professionalism (Foster).

Both should enter next season as #1 fantasy RB's (Foster 6, Hillis 12 ??) just because they have to show owners they can do it again. Unless a highly drafted rookie does well, all running backs have to put up numbers for a second season before people really believe. These two are no different.

Bolded is true, but you never know with coaches. They like to get their draft picks on the field. It's a pride thing.Plus, the turnover in the top 10 RB's from year-to-year is pretty high. It's almost always guys that broke out the previous year and people draft them high.
