Dunn and Norwood (1 Viewer)

Norwood looked good in preseason and the coaches seemed to be pretty high on him. So my question is, is Dunn still there next year and if so does this situation turn into yet another RBBC?

I think next year it's a total RBBC. 2008 is all Jerious.IMHO
Norwood was getting some action early in this season and was doing well. Then after he hurt himself - he was no longer helping and Dunn has been doing well. What are the chances that after he heals totally that he gets worked back into the picture this season yet? I would think that Atlanta would like to see him give Dunn a breather every now and again. I agree it will be RBBC next season - unless Dunn decides to retire. I also agree that Norwood is the man in 2008 if he continues to improve his play and stays healthy.

its always rbbc if vick is still qb
That doesn't mean it's a bad thing though.Since Vick came to ATL, they have averaged 2,262 yards and 17 TDs a year rushing.Since Jim Mora Jr took over, ATL has averaged 2,609 yards and 18.5 TDs a year rushing.

I'm assuming that Dunn will retire next year or will lose atleast 50% of his touches to Norwood. Dunn will be 32 next year and that is pretty much a cliff that most RB's fall from. Norwood is looking good for next year.

I could see Dunn playing a few more years, with possibly the next couple of years at a somewhat high level too. He still looks plenty agile and quick, is very effective, and is amongst the league leaders in rushing yet again. I'm not seeing any major signs of him slowing down right now. It may have to be with another team though since his contract these next two years continues to climb (2007 - 3,250,000, 2008 - 4,000,000).
