Pick#2, PPR, 8 team league (1 Viewer)

I'd appreciate you guys' opinion's on my situation. I have the 2nd pick and would gladly take MJD here but I have a feeling he won't make it to me. This leaves me with AP which in PPR I'm a little scared of. Maybe I'm crazy...but I have Turner as a keeper and that combo in PPR makes me nervous. Other keepers are Forte, R. Brown, Jennings, Chris Johnson, T. Jones, Ravens D, and K. Warner.

So who (or what position) would you take in my spot for the first few rounds? I'm thinking RB/WR/WR or RB/WR/QB, hoping to get an A. Johnson in the 2nd and possibly Brady, Manning, or Brees is still there in the 3rd. With the quality RB keepers I'm thinking RB will go fast first 2 rounds.

PPR

All TDs under 40 yds = 6 pts, > 40 yds = 8 pts

10 yds rushing/receiving = 1 pt

20 yds passing = 1 pt

seriously afraid of getting AP at #2? come on guy. 8 team league at your spot def RB - WR - WR. I'd probably go WR 3 in a row.

I think you want Larry Fitzgerald or Andre Johnson in that case, then hope you can get Steve Smith coming back. In that size leagues, you'll have decent backs but your WRs could really separate you from the pack.

Don't be shocked if the #1 pick is a receiver.

Edit: In that format and league size, I wouldn't have kept Turner. But maybe that was your best option.

I'd go top receiver (CJ, AJ or FITz only) and if they are gone (by others that kept them, I would hit up Forte. My question to you though, is if you kept Turner, someone had ADP and why did they not keep him? Kind of confused as to why both ADP and MJD would be available. Do you have a list of the players that have been kept by the other 7 owners you could share?

Please see my first post for the list of other keepers. Our keeper rule is as follows: You can keep one player per year that you drafted in round 10 or later and keep them for 3 years if they remain on your roster all year. Each year you keep a previous keeper he is drafted 2 rounds higher. (i.e. I took a flyer on Turner two years ago in the 18th rd.) so he was my 16th rd pick last year and will be my 14th rd. pick this year. So there is a good bit of luck and skill hitting gold so late. No other picks that late for me can touch Turner. So you don't think taking a top 3 QB is an option in the 3rd if available?
