Shouldn't Ronde be covering Colston at this point? (1 Viewer)

I keep hearing that If Horn plays Barber will be covering him, and that if Horn doesn't play Barber will be on Colston. Shouldn't Barber be on Colston anyway if he is in fact their best CB?

Their corners will only be responsible for covering the receivers in a short zone. Barber, a prototypical cover-2 cornerback, is not a man-cover guy.

So you heard it once by a stranger on a message board and all of a sudden you "keep" hearing it? Cover 2, Ronde doesnt cover anyone man 2 man.
