We've only got 3 spots to fill (and 1 mystery staff spot I guess), so I'm hoping we'll fill early this afternoon and Clayton will have our draft spots to us by tonight.I told them league one was my preference IF it started tomorrow.bump ----are all of you guys that were selected in the at large category advising FBG about your league choice? The first league is scheduled to draft tomorrow and has several openings still.Thanks![]()
If not, hopefully we won't fill until 2 hours before tomorrow's draft, throwing enough confusion into the mix to throw off several of your lame buts
It's all good Twilight....you only need to place fourth to advance. Good thing too cause first is a foregone conclusion. We've only got 3 spots to fill (and 1 mystery staff spot I guess), so I'm hoping we'll fill early this afternoon and Clayton will have our draft spots to us by tonight.I told them league one was my preference IF it started tomorrow.bump ----are all of you guys that were selected in the at large category advising FBG about your league choice? team with the lowest score gets eliminated each week.Could someone explain the Survivor style to me. We vote other teams out?
No. The lowest score(s) are how the bootings are determined.Week 1, the bottom 2 scores are booted.Week 2, the lowest score just for this week is cut.And so on, on a 2,1,2,1,2 schedule, so there are 4 teams left after week 5.Could someone explain the Survivor style to me. We vote other teams out?

I've played in a few leagues with that guy. He makes a lot of wacky picks and generally has a poor feel for player values. If you have any information regarding the drafting tendencies of my competition below...PM me. Those that bring me good information will be handsomely rewarded with messageboard street cred. TIA.

League 1 is active, as we're drafting tomorrow. Link is on the first page with the league listings. Are any of the sites set up yet?
Did you check your FBG email account? That's where I found my notification. Is it Clayton that setup the leagues on MFL? The email associated with my FBG account isn't valid any longer and I draft this eveninig. I need to get my MFL email updated so I can get my password and login for the draft.
it's pretty clearly listed in the first post. this is only for Leg 1.Can someone clarify something? I see reference in several places (some appear to be erroneous) concerning PPR. I want to make absolutely sure for which leagues the PPR is in effect and for which Legs. Thanks in advance!
Well, that's kinda what I mean. Looking at the first post I think it is saying that the PPR portion is for the 2nd leg, and I don't see the scoring break down showing PPR for Leg 1. that is for Leg 2 and it just says that the scoring for Leg 2 will be PPR or PERF based with different scoring rules in each individual league (probably similar to the different rules you are seeing in Leg 1). those details have not been announced yet from what I can tell.Leg 2 is a completely different draft/league. If you advance past Leg 1, the players you draft now do not carry over to Leg 2. You will draft a new team for Leg 2 and you will know what the specific rules are for your league at that point. However, it does also say:
"These twelve leagues will all compete for the first five weeks of the NFL season. At the end of those five weeks, the top 4 teams in each league will advance to round two of the competition.
Between weeks 5 and 6 of the NFL season, the 48 people advancing will compete in 4 new 12-team leagues (Leg 2). These leagues will span 5 weeks as well and all be performance/PPR leagues (with different scoring rules though) and will be a Best Ball format. Draft dates/times as well as league rules for leg 2 leagues will be determined at a later time."
That's where my confusion comes from. If I am in a performance league and then the format changes on me in Leg 2, then I might want to factor this into my drafting, but it sounds like you are saying that there is no PPR in the 2nd leg. Again, sorry if I am dense.
Damn, I forgot about the redraft! Sorry, I think the only confusion that exists is that which I am creating.that is for Leg 2 and it just says that the scoring for Leg 2 will be PPR or PERF based with different scoring rules in each individual league (probably similar to the different rules you are seeing in Leg 1). those details have not been announced yet from what I can tell.Let 2 is a completely different draft/league. basically what I'm saying is, don't worry about Leg 2 now.

Thanks Aaron, got it taken care of.I sent Clayton an email for you.If anyone knows who the comissioner is for league 1 is, or could pass along a message for me, I need to have my MFL email updated so I can access the draftroom tonight, please PM me. Thanks.- Jim

First, Clayton PMs you to find out what league you want in.Then, Clayton will set up the leagues on MFL, and send out the league invites to the E-mail address associated here on the MB. That invite will have the log-in info.Draft.Will I be getting an email invite through PM's to the league, or do I log in directly at MFL?![]()
Dude. Both questions have been answered in this thread, one just three posts up. I'm now bummed you aren't in my league, because you are definitely an easy out.Ok, I have two questions. Will I get a link to the draft via PM or email? Also, can someone tell me the diff between best ball and survivor, please? TIA
Settle down, I made a mistake, and was about to post such. Tho I didn't see a good answer to the difference in formats question.Let me know when you make a mistake, I'm sure it will be your first one.Dude. Best Ball = you compete against all other teams each week. So, if you finish with the highest point total, you will go 11-0. Team with the lowest point total will go 0-11. At the end of week 5, top 4 teams based on cumulative win/loss records will advance.Survivor = teams with lowest point total get eliminated each week. The number of teams eliminated each week are listed in the first post (lowest 2 in week 1, lowest 1 in week 2, lowest 2 in week 3, etc.). 4 teams that survive through week 5 advance to Leg 2.This was also mentioned in the first post:Also, can someone tell me the diff between best ball and survivor, please? TIA
The Survivor leagues will vote off 2,1,2,1,2 in their five weeks (to get to 4 teams). Best ball will be cumulative record against the other teams.
