So Wells is active, practiced late in the week and claims "his knee feels better than any time since September." He's been an unmitigated disaster this year, but sometimes injuries and other circumstances force you to scrape the bottom of the barrel, and I may have to consider starting him this week. While his upcoming schedule looks good down the road, this week doesn't look to great for Wells. They are on the road at Kansas City, with the very real possibility they get buried earlier and Wells is a non-factor.
I don't want to mention the other weak options I have to avoid turning this into a WDIS, but does anyone out there think there's an outside shot for Wells to at least be mediocre this week?
Right now he's on my bench, as I'd like to see him produce first.
