Bengals trade 1.04 (value = 1800) to Washington for 1.10 (value = 1300) and 2.09 (value = 500)

Washington selects Blaine Gabbert

Bengals select Julio Jones

realize you may be wanting real specific ones here and don't really know how it will shake out, but I am thinking that maybe even more than one QB needy team (MIN/TEN/MIA/WAS/whoever)will try to jump into the bottom 4th of the draft to get the second grouping of QB's if teams like BUF/CIN/AZ etc don't take one in the first part of the first......

teams may try to move up to get Locker, Ponder, Dalton, Mallet, etc if they fall out of the top half of the draft....

Since that one was taken, I'll go with the Bengals trade 1.04 to Minnesota for the 1.12 and 2.11. Minnesota takes Gabbert and Bengals take Julio.

Houston trades with Cleveland to take either Pat Peterson or Robert Quinn (more likely the latter).

Tampa Bay trades with Minnesota to take their preferred defensive end (Da'Quan Bowers if available).

STL swaps #1s with Dallas to take Julio Jones. Dallas picks up a 3rd rounder and takes Castonzo with that pick.

With no 3rd rounder this year, no way the Vikes do this deal, IMO.
Probably not. But, that also wipes out the Washington option as well (no 3rd or 4th).
Agreed.
I have nothing to look forward to tomorrow now. :kicksrock:

Titans trade 1.8 to the falcons for 1.27/2.27/2012 1st

Falcons take Julio Jones

Titans take Dalton/Ponder whichever available.

Woohoo...

The Chargers will trade up in the 1st round to reach on some guy who won't end up helping them much. Probably won't use the pick on a DE/OLB either, which is probably what they could use most and there are tons of in this draft.

I'll take Dallas trading 1.9 to Detroit for 1.13 and 3.75
Why would Detroit do that? And what pick is 3.75?
Detroit figures they can still get their guy and gets an extra pick out of the deal would be my guess (not to explain for cheese).3.75 = 3rd round, 75th overall pick. My guess anyway.
He was saying that Detroit trades up not down. So Detroit would be the one giving up their 1st and 3rd round picks to move up to 9th. I don't see it happening. The Lions will have plenty to choose from if they just sit still and let the dominoes fall. Unless Peterson is available I don't see it happening. But if Peterson is there then there is no why that the cowboys trade that pick anyway. The Dallas fans would #### a brick!

Ya, I meant 75th overall which I really should've called 3.11 I guess. I think Dallas knows they should go OLine, but I can see Jerry thinking he can gain value by trading down a few spots and still taking one, especially if they're not adament about which one they get. Detroit is probably either wanting Prince or OLine as well IMO. I think between 9-12 is a prime spot for them to miss out on Prince as well as a specific OT that they might have their eye on (including Dallas picking one themselves).

Wash needs a 2nd rounder and NE has two (for that matter 2 firsts and 2 thirds)- If Gabbert not there at 10 for Wash and Quinn is for NE, NE trades up and gets an OLB pass rusher Quinn. Wash gets a T or G for that sorry OL and a 2nd to pick a QB or another OL.

Raiders trade to get back their first round pick from the Patriots for next year's #1 and pick #48 this year and select CB Jimmy Smith.

bump for :bowtie:

NE trades 17 and 28 to Car for 1 (AJ Green). Car takes Mallett at 17 and a DL at 28.
Not enough.
Throw in 33.
Still about 800 points short. I'm not saying they go strictly by the chart, but it's usually pretty close.
AGREE VALUE NOT THERE. But I always wonder the economic costs of that contract would make me consider something like it if it was close. NE would NEVER go up that far unless LT (the original) was walking through that door in his prime.

Browns trade 2012 first and 2011 2nd to Vikings for pick 12.
Heard those rumors yesterday. It just doesn't seem like enough return for the Browns. Next year's #1, assuming there is one, should probably be top 10 again. So, the Vikes would be improving their #1 and acquiring a #2 (in my scenario). How about something like Browns give 2012 #1, 2011 #2 & #3 for Vikes 2011 #1 & #2. The vikes would move up in rnd 2 and acquire a #3 for swapping this year's #1 for Browns 2012 #1.BTW, what's "the chart" say about the value of future picks?

The chart says a round less valuable. I don't think the Vikes would take the original trade.

I'd like it, but really don't see it happening.
Not likely but possible, I think Fairly will be the pick.
Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network is reporting that the Tennessee Titans coaching staff is split on what to do in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft.  La Canfora says the defensive staff wants Auburn DT Nick Fairley while the offensive coaching staff wants Andy Dalton.  According to La Canfora the staff thinks Dalton is an "elite prospect who carries less of the varied risk of other quarterbacks in this draft."
Falcons think they are one player away.
They are already expected to target a slot-type receiver and a running back who can spark their screen and flare game sometime in the draft, but Sports Illustrated's Peter King reports via Twitter the Falcons are interested in trading up into the top 10 in Thursday's first round with the intention of landing one of this year's two prized wide receivers: Georgia's A.J. Green or Alabama's Julio Jones.
Just think if Fairly is gone for some reason, this could be an option.

In his monday morning QB column, Peter King has said that there is team willing to give up their 2nd in 2011 and their 1st in 2012 to move back into the 1st round to get their desired player. (I am praying that it is not the Vikings)

According to his sources, Peter King has also reported that a team in this draft has already offered the Eagles their 1st for Kevin Kolb but Philly was looking for a higher pick. He later tweeted that team was not Seattle.

I can't hardly wait for the Draft to see if there was any truth to his rumors.

Atlanta trades away their whole draft to get their #2 WR? When they need a passrusher, a RB, a Corner and a lot of other spots?

Current rules don't allow player for draft pick trades. So I don't see Kolb moving anytime soon. And there is a chance (very small) that the draft doesn't even happen in 2012. There is no framework for it to legally happen, so how do teams trade future picks when they aren't even protected to exist? Again, not likely. But how do these deals even get done? How are they framed?

I thought the lockout was lifted. ???
