2011 offseason dynasty trades (2 Viewers)

how do you pull off a trade like this. Cruz and Moore are garbage
Moore is garbage? In 2008 he was a top 15 WR and last year he was top 25 (injured in 2009 of course). I don't see Thomas > Moore at all. And if Bush leaves he'll get a bump most likely. What's so great about Mike Thomas.

First one looks pretty even, just depends who you like.Second one, guy who gets Beanie gets a nice upgrade. Good trade for him.Third one, I wouldn't give you Ford for Boldin much less throw in Tate. I'm not that high on Tate so he's less of a factor, but I have Ford way over Boldin. Not close.

I am thinking I have some depth at TE and am shopping Jermichael Finley to address other needs - namely at WR. I play in a 12 team PPR. Start 1 qb, 2 rb, 2wr, 1 te, 1 d/st, 1k. Might not be a seller's market these days for TE, as there seems to be a good # of options out there. I may try and package him with Moreno if needed to get a stud player.

Curious of who Finley is fetching in similar leagues nowadays. Would appreciate your sharing any info.

ETA I found this thread and am getting plenty of good information from it. What is Finley Worth in Dynasty?

I'd like feedback on this one: Traded Mike Thomas for Mark Sanchez.

Our league moved to full-flex and I needed depth. We are non-ppr. Thomas was my 5th-best WR. Sanchez will back up Romo and Bradford.

Just traded DeAngelo Williams for Ben Roethlisberger.

I'm not down on DeAngelo, but this is a dynasty salary cap league. Ben's low cap figure gives me a lot of money to go out and get a top tier WR and TE.

12 team contract league with credits used for RFA and FA bids that can also be traded. We started with 125 credits 3 years ago with an additional 25 given each year before the RFA period. 1 PPR all positions. We can start 2 TE if we choose.

team A sends:

Jason Witten (2 years on contract)

(also has Jermichael Finley with 3 years left on contract)

team B sends:

Owen Daniels (1 year on contract)

14 credits

In superflex, QB is king. Mediocre QBs score as much as low end RB1s do. Even a long term mediocre QB like Sanchez is worth a lot. A lot more than Thomas.

Gimme the fitz side. Very even but getting leshoure for a couple older guys like bray and SS pushes it over. Bray isn't too old but isn't that good.

Give:

Powell, Bilal NYJ RB

Evans, Lee BUF WR

Get:

Rodgers, Jacquizz ATL RB

Robiskie, Brian CLE WR

I really like the upside of Quizz in PPR and Evans was my WR6-7

Two in a non-PPR zealots league

1. Gave 2012 2nd round/got Fred Jackson, RB Buf

2. Gave Zach Miller, OAK TE/Got Mario Manningham, NYG WR

Feel like I got a steal with #1.

Both are good deals. I made the exact same trade for Fred in one of my leagues and couldn't be happier with it. I expect Manningham to be a top 15-20 WR this year as well.

Ford hype is out of hand.
I threw up in my mouth.
It was offered to me and I was shocked. I had to check to make sure DeSean didn't just break his leg or something...
I gave Cj Spiller for him in one league and Jordy Nelson/Aaron Hernandez in another based on my lineup depth and needs, but this is going over the deep end.

somebody has been reading too many Julius Thomas tweets from Cecil Lameny. :Dseriously though, how does some one make a trade like this. Team A gave away the more valueable WR (by quite a bit) and the more valuable TE. crazy trade that could have been in the "worst offer" thread and I say this as some one that likes Jacoby Ford.

Why is that ? Do the dynasty leagues you play in fall apart over a short period of time ?I see no problem with guys trading that far out I know the league will be around so if a team wants to trade for or give up those picks that is up to them to do as they see fit.I started my 1st dynasty league in 1997 and we have only had 2 owners turn over 1 time each in 15 years. That is a pretty good rate 80% of the original owners plus the other 2 guys who took over the other 2 teams and I had a waiting list for teams who wanted in behind them should anyone else quit.My leagues stand the test of timeFFL - started in 1990 still going strongIFL - started in 1994 still going strongCFL - started in 1997 still going strong

None of the three I'm in have ever folded. I just find it funny to see picks so far in the future traded (and I think it would be tough to value a pick that is three years away), no offense was meant.
