The Jets haven't been world beaters but I'm just not a believer in Denver against a decent team.

NY Jets (5-4, Road: 1-3) 8:20 pm EST

Denver (4-5, Home: 1-3) NFL

Sunday November 20, 2011

Cinci lost their best corner for the season (Hall). I'm going with the home team.

Cincinnati (6-3, Road: 4-1) 1:00 pm EST

Baltimore (6-3, Home: 4-0) CBS

Toss up.

Jacksonville (3-6, Road: 1-4) 1:00 pm EST

Cleveland (3-6, Home: 2-3) CBS

All of a sudden, Dallas is very good and Wash is VERY bad.

Dallas (5-4, Road: 1-3) 1:00 pm EST

Washington (3-6, Home: 2-2) FOX

Tampa Bay (4-5, Road: 1-2) 1:00 pm EST

Green Bay (9-0, Home: 4-0) FOX

Detroit rights the ship.

Carolina (2-7, Road: 0-3) 1:00 pm EST

Detroit (6-3, Home: 2-2) FOX

I'm taking Oakland on the road.

Oakland (5-4, Road: 3-1) 1:00 pm EST

Minnesota (2-7, Home: 1-3) CBS

I see Buff righting the ship. Miami just knows how to lose, last week excluded.

Buffalo (5-4, Road: 1-3) 1:00 pm EST

Miami (2-7, Home: 1-3) CBS

Arizona (3-6, Road: 1-4) 4:05 pm EST

San Francisco (8-1, Home: 4-1) FOX

I don't think I've picked St. Louis right all season. I'll let you help me with this pick.

Seattle (3-6, Road: 1-4) 4:05 pm EST

St. Louis (2-7, Home: 1-3) FOX

Chi's hot!

San Diego (4-5, Road: 1-3) 4:15 pm EST

Chicago (6-3, Home: 4-1) CBS

Tennessee (5-4, Road: 2-2) 4:15 pm EST

Atlanta (5-4, Home: 2-2) CBS

No Vick?

Philadelphia (3-6, Road: 2-2) 8:20 pm EST

NY Giants (6-3, Home: 3-1) NBC

Monday November 21, 2011

Kansas City (4-5, Road: 2-2) 8:30 pm EST

New England (6-3, Home: 3-1) ESPN

Here are my picks thus far...may be waffling on a few:

Thursday November 17, 2011

NY Jets (5-4, Road: 1-3) 8:20 pm EST

Denver (4-5, Home: 1-3) NFL

Sunday November 20, 2011

Cincinnati (6-3, Road: 4-1) 1:00 pm EST

Baltimore (6-3, Home: 4-0) CBS

Tough one here. As a CLE fan, I have seen them lose every way they can. I just see MJD carving up our run defense.

Jacksonville (3-6, Road: 1-4) 1:00 pm EST

Cleveland (3-6, Home: 2-3) CBS

Dallas (5-4, Road: 1-3) 1:00 pm EST

Washington (3-6, Home: 2-2) FOX

Tampa Bay (4-5, Road: 1-2) 1:00 pm EST

Green Bay (9-0, Home: 4-0) FOX

Carolina (2-7, Road: 0-3) 1:00 pm EST

Detroit (6-3, Home: 2-2) FOX

Oakland (5-4, Road: 3-1) 1:00 pm EST

Minnesota (2-7, Home: 1-3) CBS

Miami seems to be on a bit of a roll, and Buffalo has seemingly realized that they are Buffalo. Taking the home team.

Buffalo (5-4, Road: 1-3) 1:00 pm EST

Miami (2-7, Home: 1-3) CBS

Arizona (3-6, Road: 1-4) 4:05 pm EST

San Francisco (8-1, Home: 4-1) FOX

Another garbage game, but I see St. Louis holding home court against the Seahawks, who may be without Rice.

Seattle (3-6, Road: 1-4) 4:05 pm EST

St. Louis (2-7, Home: 1-3) FOX

San Diego (4-5, Road: 1-3) 4:15 pm EST

Chicago (6-3, Home: 4-1) CBS

Atlanta HAS to play better than last week, although that overtime blunder may have a hangover effect.

Tennessee (5-4, Road: 2-2) 4:15 pm EST

Atlanta (5-4, Home: 2-2) CBS

Philadelphia (3-6, Road: 2-2) 8:20 pm EST

NY Giants (6-3, Home: 3-1) NBC

Monday November 21, 2011

Kansas City (4-5, Road: 2-2) 8:30 pm EST

New England (6-3, Home: 3-1) ESPN

Not sure why there are 2 posts. I had originally posted the 1st topic, came back later in the day to check on it, and it didn't show up in "my content". I figured I hadn't completed the post and created a new one. Still not sure why it didn't show up in my content, all my other posts do.

Is the Miami Defensive line good enough to get to Fitzpatrick. That happened a lot in their prior losses to the Giants and Dallas.

already 0-1 for the week. Any new thoughts on how this week pans out? The Jax-Cle game is a mystery to me as well.

Went 5-9 in week 1, 6-9 in week 2. 11-18 overall. It just figures the two craziest weekends of the year happen when I try to pick games.

Maybe it comes down to turnovers. But, these two teams are essentially even when it comes to turnovers. The Jaguars defense has a slightly higher turnover rate than the Browns defense, but McCoy is fairly conservative with his passes so I'd say it balances out.Team morale for the Browns is spiraling into the abyss. They lost ugly at home. The Browns beat reporters made an interesting observation when they noted that Shurmur seems to be losing confidence in his team. When the season started out he was very aggressive on offense, but every week it seems the offense goes more and more into a shell. They did run some trick plays last weekend against the Rams, but on the missed FG drive, they really didn't take many chances, despite facing a Rams defense that was severely depleted by injuries. If you cannot take a shot at the end zone against a depleted Rams defense at home, when can you?Jaguars are probably feeling better after their win last week. I picked the Jaguars. The way the Browns are going they will likely finish the year with 3 or 4 wins.

Thx fensalk for the Cleveland insight, you've got the pulse of that team much better than I do.

Why is everyone picking Seattle? Tarvaris Jackson is coming back and I'm not sure that's a positive.

11-2 for me this week, pulling my record all the way back up to 22-20. Figures one of the two games I miss is the Browns game, which is the only game I discussed in this thread. Local sportswriters said that Shurmur took to heart the complaints about not going for the endzone versus the Rams, so his playcalling was more aggressive this week.

I'm 2 games out of first in my pool, and keep reminding myself that we are in the middle of the season for a pool like this. Fantasy Football sure does train your brain that the season is a 13 week sprint.

In saying that, I am wondering if much of the consensus will be on Baltimore or SF on Thursday night. It could be 50/50 with the exposure that SF is getting. One way or another it seems like a good time to gain a point on half the field.

Will the trip affect SF on a short week? Gotta believe every player gets up for this game. This one should come down to a FG either way, but I really am leaning towards the home team, even though they look extremely sloppy at this point in the season.

I also think EVERYONE will be on the Pats. With VY playing QB I agree. But any chance Vick plays?

If Vick plays, I like Philly at home.
