It says it can't happen when one has control of the ball first.Jennings clearly has this multiple times while Tate never has it at all until after the scrum.

Must be tough to understand words and rulings when your glasses are made of swiss cheese. Jennings gets 2 hands on the ball, Tate has his one hand on the ball and from the slow mo footage that hand doesn't move until they are on the ground scraping for it. Since when is a one handed catch never considered possession? I'm roughly 1,000,000,000% sure that you can maintain possession of a ball with one hand. You can also maintain possession with one of your hands and your helmet, or your body, or your opponents helmet or body. Was it an interception? Yeah probably. Was it a clear as the ocean is wet? No not even close, it was about as clear as trying to read with beer goggles on. The call was deemed TD in real time. Even with SUPER slow mo you can't say without a shadow of a doubt that it was not simultaneous possession. Two simple facts, One: The Packers played awful last night... they and their fans act like the Seahawks were handed 3 touchdowns to officiating mistakes. The simple fact is they were down 7-6 with only a few minutes remaining in the game. Maybe they should start taking some of the blame themselves, they are supposed to be the Superbowl favorites for this season, they are supposed to have the best QB in the league and the best offense in the league. I heard a rumor last year they almost went 16-0. They went into Seattle last night and got their asses handed to them. Then a slightly controversial call comes up and they blame it all on that. Personally, I think Rodgers needs to face facts and not whine about the officiating but talk about how he's going to get back into his 2011 form. Through three weeks he looks like the 2011 form of Mark Sanchez at best.Two: The Packers never even score that go ahead TD if not for a phantom PI on one Kam Chancellor. Which was another officiating miscue. How about this... the two bs penalties offset. Seahawks win the game 7-6. Same result, but if they both didn't happen than there is less drama. Either way, no arguments about it. Aaron Rodgers statistically is currently behind the likes of Sanchez, Palmer, Ponder, Manning (both of them), Dalton, Schaub, Flacco etc. doesn't really matter how you look at his stats. Honestly, I think I'm viewing it with too much bias. There are people here who clearly think two things:1. This was definitely a slam dunk call that should have gone in favor of the Packers on review. I don't see it as that clear. It probably was, but for every still frame people say confirms the INT, I've seen another that shows a different confirmation.2. That you can call out this bad call and not the others that affected the game as well. There were bad calls that extended the play on the GB TD drive and you can't extrapolate beyond that whether one team would have won or lost if that call is made correctly.The refs jobbed both teams of a win no matter how you look at it. If the last call goes the other way then Seahawks fans claim that phantom PI won the Packers the game. Trust me, nobody is happy about the outcome.

1. I think it was clear on review. I don't think any still on its own confirms an INT or TD. I think the stills combined with the video is what confirms it and makes it clear for me. The video did enough of that though.2. I have been over the PI call on the GB TD drive...it was a close call and the wrong one. It was in real time without the benefit of slow mo replay. It was with what...about 10-11 minutes left (if not more) when it happened? Citing that call and assuming no team scores after that is where I have a problem with some just using that call. As you said, you cannot extrapolate beyond that PI call to determine who wins. With this last call...you most definitely can say who wins or loses based on the call.If the Hawks fans would claim the phantom PI call won them the game...they would be foolish for the reasons mentioned above.

Few things...whole "gun shot thing" when he "finally" made a play?He did it to signal first down...after a run...on the Packer's first offensive play.

And let me know at the end of the year if those guys finish above him...and when they play the 3 defenses Rodgers has faced as well.

He is cocky because he has earned that the past few seasons in what he has done in this league.

And while you may not be the only one who thought it was a toss up...you are in a very very very small minority.

The refs are to blame for the loss in the end. Sure, other things factored in and if the Packers would not have been so poor early on it would not have mattered...but even the NFL admitted the refs lost that game in the end with a missed PI call.

Oh, and they are moving on (and most of the Packers stayed out of it and said they have moved on...Rodgers will too.

Uhm....the Seattle offense only scored 7 points and the Refs the other 7 for them. Packers adjusted at half time and pretty much controlled it until the Regs gave it away. Rodgers was only sacked once in the 2nd half. I wouldn't be so high on the Seahawk since they only thing they've proven is they need help from the zebras to win ball games.

Whenever you "apologize" for someone else, it's usually a cheap shot. Think about it for a minute. If I say "On behalf of my family, I would like to apologize for what a jerk my brother is." Then all I'm really doing is making a public statement that my brother is a jerk. All Rodgers is really doing is calling out the replacement officials - only in this case, he happened to be on th losing end of the game - so it comes off even worse. The OP calling this "admirable" is laughable. It is not admirable to throw someone under the bus when you lost under the guise of an "apology to the fans". He wasn't apologizing for himself or his play or even his team's play. He was pointing the finger and trying to make it sound like he was taking some imaginary high ground, when, in fact he was doing the farthest thing from it.I certainly understand Packer fans being pissed about the call. I understand Packer players being pissed about the call. But as the QB and team leader, he should have stayed away from "aplogizing" (i.e. blaming the loss on) for bad calls by the officials.Is the underlying point about the ineptitude of the officials correct? To just the bolded part. Rodgers celebrates way too much compared to other - and better - QB's. Few that I can remember that performed at this level celebrated anywhere close to this clown. The "belt" thing and now the guns - he is going to get his accolades regardless - no reason to behave like a 10 year old - no wonder his leadership is disputed in his own team.

Rodgers has become more and more cocky all year, the whole 'gun shot' thing when he finally made a single play happen was simply sad. So is his complaints and blames on the refs for their game loss. The Refs are awful, there isn't arguments there. However, to blame them for your loss? Please. You were 15-1 last season playing a team that was 7-9 last season. The whole Packers team (besides McCarthy) are acting like a 5 year old bully who just got knocked on his ### for the first time and ran to tell the teacher. Suck it up they lost, move on with your life and hope that the team can get back to form going forward.

And let me know at the end of the year if those guys finish above him...and when they play the 3 defenses Rodgers has faced as well.

And while you may not be the only one who thought it was a toss up...you are in a very very very small minority.

The refs are to blame for the loss in the end. Sure, other things factored in and if the Packers would not have been so poor early on it would not have mattered...but even the NFL admitted the refs lost that game in the end with a missed PI call.

Oh, and they are moving on (and most of the Packers stayed out of it and said they have moved on...Rodgers will too.

To just the bolded part. Rodgers celebrates way too much compared to other - and better - QB's. Few that I can remember that performed at this level celebrated anywhere close to this clown. The "belt" thing and now the guns - he is going to get his accolades regardless - no reason to behave like a 10 year old - no wonder his leadership is disputed in his own team.

How many are "better" QBs out there right now?I don't mind a few minor celebrations here and there (as long as the team is not down a bunch (which you don't see him doing it then).

His leadership is not disputed in his own team (Finley's agent does not play for the team).

Just heard Rodgers apology. Maybe he should worry about getting first downs instead of his "apology/crying". The packers played scared. The WR's didn't want to get hit and got thrown off their finesse game. Fun to see.

Uhm....the Seattle offense only scored 7 points and the Refs the other 7 for them. Packers adjusted at half time and pretty much controlled it until the Regs gave it away. Rodgers was only sacked once in the 2nd half. I wouldn't be so high on the Seahawk since they only thing they've proven is they need help from the zebras to win ball games.

Actually they scored 14 and the Packers scored 12. That is why there is a "1" in the Seahawks win column. Hawks D controlled that game...just as they did the Dallas game. :discountdoublechecked:
