Trash talking galore by both teams. Awesome! Finley saying the Bears are better off without Urlacher. Briggs calling Finley "an idiot." :lmao:

Maybe Finley should worry more about catching the ball and being a part of a powerful offense than about the Bears linebackers. Guy has been a turd for his entire career.
You missed Marshal talking out his ### too. He's a clown. A good WR, but still a clown.
Really? He wasn't bracketed by double and triple coverage all game? Try covering him man to man Sunday....see how that works out for ya.Hasn't been a clown as a Bear. That's all that matters now.
Reading comprehension. I know you're a Bear fan, but I couldn't type it any slower for you.

If the bears want to man up and drop the cover two coverage the packers would take that in a new York minute

Pack would win by 40

I mean really - are there any bear fans that really think they can win a shoot out with the Packers? You seriously think if both teams went man coverage you could take the Packers?

You have one good wr and a good qb. The Packers can be without their two best WR and still smoke you. Plus, your offensive line makes the Packers O line look great, and the Packers O line is below average compared to most teams.

something like that...Jennings chimed in too...saying Marshall was smart begging to be man on man...and that he was daring Chicago to go man up on him too and not play cover 2 :)
Jennings? :lmao:
:lmao: Jennings isn't scaring anyone
Really? You think the Bears want to go Man to Man and no cover 2 against him?Hah2011...9 catches 119 yards in the one game he played against them.2010...2 for 18 and a TD in the early game, 4 for 97 in the last game of the regular season, 9 for 130 in the playoff game2009...6 for 106 and a TD, 3 for 562008...5 for 65 and a TD, 6 for 38 and a TD Could go back further...but he has had some success against the Bears don't you think. And that is while playing mostly cover 2.That playoff game he just torched them over and over on that first drive.

I'm looking forward to watching the Super Bowl preview game when the 9ers visit the Pats. Packers vs Bears pales in comparison.

You have no freaking clue what you're talking about. The Bears don't even play Cover 2 most of the time. Get your facts straight, homer.

Sweetness and benson already took the year off from the board, right? Too bad, in a way.
Sweetness is never around when things go bad for his topics or Bears.Benson has not been around for a while now...not sure what happened to him.
Benson hasn't been around since his boy got injured. Too painful for him to go back to being a Bears fan - after switching sides due to player loyalty - and rooting for a real team.

Really?
Bears really bring it. The Chicago Bears got another turnover on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. When Brian Urlacher punched the ball away from running back Marshawn Lynch and Kelvin Hayden recovered, it marked the 300th turnover by this defense under Lovie Smith. This somewhat generic Cover-2 defense is unbelievably opportunistic; the Bears really live the big-play mentality and are OK giving up a couple of extra yards per play while the first guy there tries to strip the ball. Charles Tillman also forced a fumble later in that game, but Seattle managed to recover the ball.
huh
Now, just six years later, only two teams -- the Bears and Vikings -- consider the cover 2 to be their base defense

oooooooh because I don't know much about the defense my favorite team runs. They run it far less frequently than they used to. I doubt you two follow the Bears as closely as I do.

Yeah, Tillman would have no problem shutting him down. Cover 2 sucks

So where was he talking out of his ###? Figured you were referring to him saying he was doubled and tripled all game.

I'll be there for the beat down.
Even though the Pack are the far superior team at this point, obviously, it doesn't mean the Bears can't win. Don't think it doesn't pain me to say that. Recent history and an injury riddled aging defense doesn't bode well for the Bears. Lovie can rarely seem to beat Green Bay . When he first came to Chicago, he said beating the Packers was his first goal. Well, that hasn't happened lately. This game is more about pride than anything else. If the Bears do happen to make a push and make the playoffs, they're not good enough to make it far. Everyone knows it. If it takes another Packers blowout to get Lovie out of town, so be it.With that said, I'd still love to see Rodgers face driven into the ground after his silly ### "discount doublecheck" dance. That guy is such a cheeseball. I don't give a damn about Finley or Jennings. Finley is a bum, even Packers fans know it. Jennings is not as important to the offense as he once was and has barely played this year. I'm not sure why either guy was talking. If anyone, Rodgers or Cobb should be doing the talking. However, they're smarter than that.

I look forward to seeing how often they run cover 2 today.....you know, since that was the whole point of debating your dip#### comments.

Tillman is having a great year and all...but if he goes strictly one on one man against Jennings....he better get that punch ready...because he will be giving up a lot of completions. Also better get it ready against Cobb...please go man up with Cobb, Jones, and Jennings without those 2 deep safeties.

Yet obviously we watch more Packer/Bear games than you do, because that is exactly how the Bears (like 90% of the league) play the packers.

Really? The whole statement was out of his his ###. The stuff he was crying about Woodson talking about was Woodsons response to Cutlers comment earlier in the year!

He's as stupid as Finley. Just shut the hell up and play.

Lovie owns the Pack.
Update?Lovie started out hot against GB for sure...but it sure has turned. Now time to cheer for the Bears (and Dallas and Washington) a bit the rest of the season. Would much rather see them make it as a WC than the Giants.

The Bears looked very strong in the beginning, but in the end I think the better team won the game. I don't think Cutler is the answer down there in Chicago. Time to look elsewhere.

urlacher seems like a baby these days

boohoo the fans booed us

booohoo the refs hate us

booohooo the media is mean

shuddup already

There it is :excited:

Has anyone ever found anything using the search function around here?

Lot's of internal crap going on inside the Pack locker room between McCarthy & Rodgers. Bears got dinged up last night but found a way to win. I see lots of Lacy and Forte in this, the greatest rivalry the NFL has to offer.

GO PACK GO!!

Kind of wish FBG would delete threads after a certain amount of in activity. Sucks reading through pages of threads to find relevant current information.

Also, something like this could use a new revival, new trash talk, etc.

That being said, cutler should be thrilled this week. He gets his favorite targets back, the gb secondary

Should be interesting to see Rodgers vs. Bears secondary, whom are now starting the hot-dog vendor at cornerback.
can the packers underperforming o-line block the bears underperforming pass rush? that is the ball game because rodgers can pick apart this 2nd and 3rd level if no pass rush
