GAME EVENT!
The crowd lurches over the corpse of Eric Harris, when a shrill shout comes from around the corner. Suddenly Whoda comes flying around the corner with a grenade in one hand and a rifle in the other. Firing at someone in the crowd he shouts something about avenging his fallen comrade, then pulls the grenade pin and explodes into a red mist. Thankfully for the village, it's kinda hard to shoot a rifle one handed so he missed his intended target...

I think it's got to be something like that. Otherwise, what are the good guy politicians doing with a shotgun vig?just a thought i had.
perhaps the missed shots were bg teams trying to shoot at other bg teams. you have multiple killers out there but they can't kill each other.

NIGHT 2 REPORT:
Night comes over the village yet again and the citizens are mingling about in the town square discussing the days events. So much death... but thankfully two people who wished the village harm were gone. There is cause to celebrate, right?!
Not so fast.
As the festivities began picking up, multiple reports could be heard on the hillside overlooking the town. Muzzle flashes consistent with a Bushmaster Assault rifle could be seen in the distance and about 1 second later Hulk's abdomen and chest lurch forward and the contents spill forth onto the street. He collapses in a heap on the ground surrounded by a rapidly expanding pool of blood.
DEAD IS HULK, Dianne Feinstein - GGRP
As the crowd scattered, one individual seemed particularly slow to act. Bodies ran for cover but by the time he made his move it was too late. Yet again small handgun fire rang out and Greco jolted forward with reddening patterns forming in his shirt, then he collapsed to the ground, Dead.

Yet another shotgun blast could be heard echoing from around town but the source was impossible to pick up, and he thankfully missed his target. Good for the village as the night has already been a costly one.
Another Concealed carry permit could be found on the ground... illegible, but again it appears it expired this morning like the other. Off in the distance, Piers Morgan could be seen jotting some notes on a pad then disappearing around the corner.
