Just was asked if I wanted a beer (1 Viewer)

That's some old school stuff there. When I was a young pup just starting out it wasn't at all unusual for everyone to have a drink or two with lunch. Now not so much. Can't remember the last business lunch I went on where anyone ordered alcohol.

We would have beers at lunch when I worked for Big Oil. I'd take people out and put it on my company card. Expense it. Big Oil was pretty awesome.

I honestly can't find anyone with one star... I wouldn't even think it's possible if it wasn't for your profile. Basically every single poster rates you as the absolute lowest.

Those statements are extremely accurate, just about 100% certain everyone agrees.... Instead of clogging a thread, I pm'd them to you, yet you still clog a thread.... I assume you are equally terrible in real life.

Being a sales rep, any lunch with a client and/or co-workers, alcohol is pretty much a given.

That is some cool stuff Drummer... You must have a fun fulfilling life that getting people riled up excites you. This is basically the saddest thing I've read here. I have to imagine that women, friends, money, family, etc. are something you are probably lacking, so with that I do have some pity for you.

I won't say where I work but our biggest customer is the US Office of Personnel Management. Although by far the drunkest lunch has been with a couple of people from our equivalent in the UK. Those guys do it right!

BTW, I'm back to drinking water. Two whiskey's for the afternoon was enough for right now.
