When you and I talk about "value" in a player prop, we're talking about the upside versus the line the bookmaker sets. When a DFS guy talks about "value", he's talking about upside versus a salary (cap) set by Draftkings or Fanduel or whatever other fantasy site. By the guy saying he's fading Harden, he's not saying that Harden won't score 30 points, he's saying that Harden's pts, reb, asst, steals, and blocks are not worth his DFS salary of $11 million or whatever.
might be my fault. I haven't played much hockey this season and i tailed. Bos, LA, Columbus and Cgy. Funny enough i was going to parlay all 4 opponents just in case all 4 were losers, but Columbus already started and i didn't think it worth it with the other 3
Agreed on some level. Just like in football if a guy has a huge week the week before then his value goes up to a price where it doesnt make sense in having him on your team. I wouldn't neccessarily grab anything that someone said im fading theses guys because their salary is too high, this guy suggested that their defensive matchups could pose a problem for them too.
From now on I only tail 2000 unit or more plays from that guy. LOL.....and we move on.
