**Finless Memorial Gobbler - rodg12 Wins - Kyle Kendrick MVP (1 Viewer)

10 . 04 eephus --- Josh Rutledge --- SS --- Angels

I've taken multiple waiver wire flyers on this guy in the past and they've never worked out. He's SS eligible, out of Coors Field and looking like the front runner for regular playing time.

I doubt he's good enough to hold a starting job but the Anaheims aren't exactly renowned for their personnel decisions.

10.5 Miguel Gonzalez, SP, Orioles

His ability to keep his ERA low despite a terrible FIP has been impressive. Here's hoping it all comes crashing down in 2015. Even if it doesn't, his low K rate and high HR rate will keep him useful.

10.7 - mark reynolds, 1b

essentially a 3 outcome player - hr/bb/k. worried about playing time and his propensity to bb & hr, but i am hoping with sporadic playing time and increased age, his power and eye will dissipate. the 2014 sheet lists him as a top 100 bat.

Chris Davis 3b.... Commish, he had 21 g at 3rd but seems listed just 1st some places. If he won't be eligible at 3rd tell me and I'll make 2 r11 picks

Annyong just posted this in the Hot Stove thread

Mike Minor

Tommy Milone
Since Milone was one of the guys he posted when he picked at the top turn over the weekend, I assume these are his picks here.
Picking out of turn, posting picks in the wrong thread... It might be time for Wrigley to bring this thing home. The pressure is getting to Annyong.

It should be a fun, minimal level of effort league. Prize will be winner take all with a proposed in cost of $12.95. The winner will also receive a piece of Jimmy Gobble memorabilia that doesn't cost too much to ship.
$12.95 Paypal GIFT to cpzeck at yahoo.

Lots of Jimmy Gobble commons are available on eBay. There were Gobble bobble heads made while he was in the minors. I have 8 months to find a cheap one.
I still need email addresses to send out the Fantrax invites.

11.05 - Ian Desmond, SS, WAS

Surprisingly a top-40 player last year. Lots of Ks. Doesn't walk much.

chris capuano, p

i hate that he tries to k guys, but i think another AL year on a team that likely will need him to make starts will be what the doctor ordered. i am hoping for the ole innings eater going to a 4.5era with 30 hrs.

11.8 Steven Souza, OF, Rays

Seems like a guy who could have some issues in his first full year as a big-league starter, on a team that might let him struggle through those issues. Had a fairly high K rate in the minors so that's a plus.
