Well...I've got sore eyes from staring at spreadsheets too long. Calling it final at 11:25 EDT. I'll reveal a contest finalist lineup tomorrow nite and look forward to the MNF update chats starting next week. Anyone out there familiar with how to post the stats file from FFLM to generate the standings after Sunday games? I'll volunteer to "keep score" prior to DD's official posting as long as someone can get me the raw data. All the leagues I commish in are online so I can't generate stats for side games...

As I understand the rules, the intitial entry mus be in by midnight ( about 15 minutes away), but changes can be made through the 6th (the time wasn't stated, I assume midnight Tues night?)"Contest Rules

There will be no draft. A subscriber simply chooses a team from the pre-determined values. Roster selection can be changed until September 6th at which point it will be frozen. No roster moves are permitted once the contest starts."

After picking my team the first thing that came to mind was the commercial with Tracey Morgan from SNL, where he says, "When I dunk on you it will be unorthodox!". My team is kind of like that.

I have 3848 total and 1868 starters.

I posted above that changes can be made through the 6th. It not going to "lock" tonight except for those who haven't sent a 1st entry.

I was in a hurry to get my team in under the wire tonight (beat the clock by 5 minutes or so) but I think I did some pretty thrifty shopping, especially at WR and spent more than most did on my Kickers and Defenses

I'm sure at least half the people ran this contest through the draft dominator to see who they "should" draft(not who they did, but as an initial lineup to tweak from). Does anyone have that lineup and what the software should have been the team? Just curious and not willing to go through the tedium to find out.

I just signed up today and just realized like 17 minutes before the freakin deadline was about to close about this contest so I didn't have a lot of time to prepare and well... I was going to go back and not leave money on the table but I stuck with my gut instinct. Too many times in my life I have over analyzed a situation tunil I couldn't make up my mind. So to make a long story short.... I personally think that Losman may play better than the guys you wanted me to so-call upgrade to.
 
There's 3 posts on page 1, before the contest "offically" opened, which mention the issue with the lock time being the 4th or 6th, too bad it never got cleared up. Hate to see a lack of attention to detail when it's pointed out to the staff.

 
damn...it looks like I submitted my entry Tue, Sep 5th at 12:05 AM (it says my entry is legal though)

will that 4 mins matter? it was my first entry so I didn't make any changes or anything

 
unwritten law -

see my post above. the rules say the 4th in one spot, but the 6th in another. if your entry was marked as legal the 6th is probably the actual cutoff. i think you're ok.

Seems we listed all kinds of different dates on this thing. We have made a decison to hold this open until 12:01 ET September 6th (1 minute after midnight on Tuesday). This ensures no one was working to the wrong date.

When Doug Drinen wakes up Wednesday morning, he is locking down the contest from further edits.

Oh great, now I have to re-evaluate my team another half dozen times. :rant:

I will be interested when the team analysis comes out to see which players are on the greatest percentage of rosters.
