Game Thread W3 - Cincinnati V Pittsburgh (1 Viewer)

What the heck happened. I leave for a few minutes and Hooch scores two TDs.

Must have been worried about losing his job to Henry.

The Steelers were an 11-5 club in 2005. They lost a lot of talent this offseason. 9-7, 8-8 shouldn't be surprising.

The two biggest thigns was of course Jerome Bettis who might turn out to be irreplacable. By himself he's a pretty huge loss for the franchise. They also lost talent on the DL, which I felt was a bad idea since their DL got exposed and manhandled in the Super Bowl. Their DL looks like a disappointment this year.

I give you Bettis, but they replaced Kimo with Kiesel and that's not losing a thing. They lose nothing else on the DL.The DL has put consistent pressure on Palmer all day today.
 
Nice 4th down play by the Steelers. I should close the windows or the neighbors are going to think I'm abusive.

Meh. The Steelers defensive front needed to get better than last year, not stay the same, imho. I think its worse.

Parker well over hundred yards in 2/3 games and with 2 short tds. They don't miss Bettis on the field. The only player on DL to leave was Kimo. Just because you keep repeating the same rhetoric does not make it true.
 
I just wish Brat would have called one shot deep. Everyone knows Marvin's team is going to run as much clock as they can, and punt, it would have been a nice change.

 
Just got in and looking at line for the game. CJ 1 catch 11 yards. Is he still in game??? Are they even looking his way????

What was that Roethlisberger vs. ____ thread that we had a while back? Which quarterback did people pick him over?

 
This may have been covered earlier in the thread, but why is Fast Willie not in the game? Were the 130+ yds and 2 TDs not enough?

 
With 20 seconds and a few downs to work with why not give it to parker a couple times there? At least it gives you a chance to score.

 
There is just no way as a Bengals fan to be thrilled with that, but you know what, in the NFL a win is a win, and at Pittsburgh, Marvin is now 3-1 and we'll take it.

 
I just caught the last part of the 4th quarter...can someone fill me in on something.

I see FWP had some great numbers, but is it pretty much going to be Haynes in the game in the hurry up? Was FWP in at all in the 4th quarter?
