That was a terible personal foul call. Gore steps about 4 in out of bounds and never slows up. How the Hell is a DB supposed to see that when he is running perpendicular and everyone is still traveling at full speed?

Seriously, EdwardCat. I know you've got sharp football acumen because I've seen your non-LT posts in other threads. But I always get the feeling that you're in the Chargers game thread every week just to get a rise out of the other forum members by bashing Tomlinson -- the same way that BGP likes to get a rise out of people by bashing the Steelers. It's a distraction that the game threads would be better off without. Sorry if my read is incorrect, but that's the feeling I get.

Because Turner's not in the game. Neal and Tomlinson are the starters. Neal often gets carries in short-yardage situations.

I own Tomlinson. I want him to do well. Watching him fail miserably against two tough defenses and then losing carries to Neal...and then Turner...make it painful. It isn't a schtick. It is incredible frustration that such a good player could fall so far.

Either you're not watching the games, or you're fishing. Please either watch the games or pipe down.Tomlinson is on pace for 356 carries (2nd most in his career, most since '02) and 76 catches. You don't have a clue.

I'm making observations, not venting. He has 5 carries to Neal's 4. Turner will take over later in the game. LT may have a TD but he's losing his stud status.

Two good young QBs in this one - both doing well. Its nice to see Marty letting Rivers loose. BTW, don't panic MT owners. Keep the faith. Despite what Mr. Tremblay claims, he will see a good dose of MT in the second half of this one.

The 49ers best keep this close so LT gets some much needed points this week. I can't lose to the Tiki/Clinton owner. I mocked him too much at the draft.
