I agree. Yes there were some dropped passes and some breakdowns on the OL - but most of his poor play was on him.

The original post of this thread is correct. Young played about as badly as is possible. Could he have thrown 10 picks and wound up worse? Yeah, but it's nitpicking. He was the definition of terrible. What's the big problem with this?

Only complete and total morons thought that the intent of Texas was to groom him for the NFL. Texas groomed him to win a MNC and he did just that. You are hoping that the best college WR is stuck with a pile af garbage like Vince Young? If you want to see what happens then, look at CJ's stats now and cut them in half. If Calvin even gets a feeling that TEN is going after him, he will stay in school. He doesn't need that kind of torture.Vince Young blows. Always has always will. Put HIM at WR and get a QB.

I felt he belonged at WR as well until I had the chance to watch a his first games in the NFL... he is slow vs NFL speed. He does not have the impact on the game with his legs that he did at UT.

If there was a top 2 RB coming out of college that happened to be white. Received a lot of hype and was drafted in the top 10 and played like poop. He would be getting a thread about how he played like poop. It doesn't mean people are white RB bashing.
