Ernest Givins fell 21 yards shy in 1990, and then 4 yards shy in 1991. Hill and Jeffries made the 1K club both years, but Hill left after that season (and no Oiler hit 1,000 yards).

The Redskins combo was best, with Sanders' 1138 yards being the most ever by a third receiver. Joiner (1132) was the only other number three guy to finish with 1100 yards. Stokley (1077) and Mathis (1039) round out the group.
Givins (996, 979), Joiner (932 on the '85 Chargers, five years later), Tim Brown (930, '02 Raiders) and Vincent Brisby (904, 1994 Patriots) were the next five on the list. So those ten are the only ones to reach 900 yards.
