Before preseason starts let me just say... (1 Viewer)

... it is only preseason. It doesn't matter if the Patriots go 0-4 or if the 3rd string QB for the Raiders is leading the NFL in passing TDs.

Watch the games to see who might win the training camp battles, who looks washed up, etc. but don't get too carried away. Teams for the most part do not game plan for opponents and starters rarely go beyond the 1st quarter and even less past the 2nd half.

Have fun but don't get too carried away -- it is just preseason!

So the next thing you are going to tell me is that I should not pick up that UDFA RB who breaks some long run because some other UDFA totally misses a tackle :goodposting:

Should I start T. Green of Culpepper tonight?

If I see a no-name RB break a long TD run late in the fourth quarter, I'm picking him in the 5th round.

The parts of preseason that matter to me are:

the first quarter of game 2;

the first 2-3 quarters of game 3; and

the first series of game 4.

Everything else is just training camp drama.

WHAT!!!!!!!!! AARON MOOREHEAD JUST HAD 1 CATCH FOR 72 YARDS AND A TOUCHDOWN FROM JIM SORGI -

Be right back guys, headed to my waiver wire before you other sharks try to get him too.

There we are, the first two predictions of preseason. Godsbrother has declared it a lock that the Pats go 0-4 and that the #3QB for Oakland lights 'em up!

I think you can get a feel for quite a few unknowns from preseason games. A few years ago I grabbed Rudi Johnson after he had a big preseason. I got laughed at pretty good, being told that he was 3rd string & was running against scrubs in the 4th quarter. Even so, that season when Dillon went down it was Rudi who took over. Same with FWP 2 seasons ago. Yes, he was a FBG darling in his breakout season, but he had a big preseason that was worth gambling on. Sure, I also grabbed Musa Smith last season, who was a preseason phenom who didn't pan out, but if I can bat 25% on these late pick gambles it's a payoff for me. Sure, it's only preseason, but if you see talent playing with the scrubs, sometimes it will rise to the top. Especially at the RB position, where guys come out of the blue all the time because of injuries.

YEAH!! Where's all the Saints fans now??? Where dey, huh? IN YOUR FACE!@#$

What's that? The game hasn't even started yet?

Well, this is embarrassing....

All that being said, and me agreeing to it, I'm still anxious to see if some radio station is going to broadcast it. I already know I won't be seeing it on T.V. Anyone know if a PIT or N.O. radio station will be carrying the game? If so, do they have a webcast?
