Game Thread W5 - Detroit V Washington (1 Viewer)

They have to halt the game now. The Redskins just kicked off and it went into the end zone. This has never happened before in Washington. There's confusion and mass panic.

This game ain't over by a longshot, but with no running game, no particular provisions by Martz for pass protection, and the Redskins having already demonstrated they can get to Kitna who now has to pass more, I feel for Kitna's ribs. :rant:
 
there, now Martz can go back to passing every down for the rest of the game. he got his 1 run in.

i'll never understand how refs call possession on a fumble

two Redskins at the bottom of the pile, one has the ball wrapped in his arms and the refs rule Lions ball :rant:

 
There's something odd about the commercial they keep showing, using the phrase "When a Whopper loves a woman". Was that an old porn movie?

Yes. So far the Lions have switched the RB every drive, but on Kevin's only drive, all they did was pass.

That is, after Washington goes up 14-0 after the Lions defenders once again forget the basics (idea?) of tackling...Also, Campbell's fine.
 
I hate the Skins...even if Portis were the guy getting 80% of the carries, you never get the juicy TD with him...even in best ball leagues, handcuffed to betts, we watch Sellers carry the ball into the end zone...no upside whatsoever.

A couple years back Sellers had 7 TD's or so. He's very good around the goal line. Avion Caison just got decapitated and gave Washington the ball, by the way. Thanks Avion. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Are you kidding me?? Sellers 1 yard TD??

Was Portis in there?? I've had it with Portis.

Portis 9 carries 1 catch for 10 touches. Betts 7 carries and 2 catches for 9 touches.

I thought this week it was going to mostly Portis. Now it seems split down the middle and Sellers gets the goaline TD.

Frustration sets in. What's the story?
