That's where the draft comes in. Do you use your 1st/2nd round picks on DB's since they are scarce or do you get yourself a Walter, Earl, Rice, etc. I still have no idea myself.Also orc, sayhota, dude, I've only played with one team I put together when I got the game Wednesday so I haven't really played with many players and not sure who else has played with many. I'm mostly drafting and playing guys that I have heard of and thought were good players at one time. If they mesh cool but if not at least I'l have fun playing.

There's enough players out there. Just have to alter your draft plan if you want a CB or 2 DB's early then you better get them.

Net CommishEliminates dice rolls which could wind up taking a day or two and creates a random order for us. Can have it send the list to whatever e-mail addresses want to verify the order though shouldn't be that big of a deal.

here's my thoughts.
I think we're going to need 2 leagues. this way we can keep things simple for those that want that and are new to the game. and the other league can be a draft league. Here's how I think we should break this down.
League 1 (10 team draft)

if by doing it again you mean trying to organize the chaos, then yes.the problem is not everyone wants the same thing. im trying to make it a good experience for everyone. it's really not that confusing. you would only be in the draft league so you don't have to worry about the other.why is having a couple leagues so hard for peopel to understand? you're either in the league or your not. don't worry about the ones your not in.
That is awesome :( The FBG odds of finishing a league are already <10% anyway, might as well keep it as simple as possible.add to that the fact that we don't have enough room for everyone. we've left out weasel(RROD) and LCBears in the 12 team league. how do you think we should handle that? just forget about them?

FWIW, as an "alternate" of the GOW league, taking myself and the other alternates late into the game and allowing them to join really overcomplicated things and probably led to the demise of those leagues. Just stick with 10-12 owners or however many are ready now for a draft.

I'm out. I quit the 1st league and I'm now out of this league. I busted my controller during Samsa's game and I have little desire to get a new one. In fact, I'm strongly considering selling the whole ####### thing. I don't want to spend my afternoons and evenings losing at video games. It's apparent that I royally suck and no matter what I do, somehow I'm going to get ####ed over. I'm tired of it. I'm done.

I would have loved to seen this work, but it's become evident that I just don't have any fun playing anymore. I'm not sure if the Gears drove it out of me or what, but you play video games to have fun and I'm just not having any fun at all.

Yeah, I made the mistake of starting freshly-picked-off-the-waiver-wire Warner over Jeff Garcia. In fact, I dropped Vince Young for Warner. Probably won't make a difference, but it would at least have made it close. Oh well. Life goes on.

I just get unlucky. Twice in my game against Samsa, the kickoff was clearly going out of bounds, then it does a miracle bounce and I have to recover the ball and start deep in my endzone. Things like that constantly snakebite me. Fact of the matter is that I put a lot of faith and confidence in my game everytime I play. I even practiced various plays for about an hour today and an hour yesterday just to get things down. But in the end, I can't play defense for a damn. For all I know, I'm probably getting better, but I'm just tired of losing. To me, if you're constantly failing at something and it's doesn't involve your employment, it's not worth doing.Phoenix is not as bad as he says (or his record indicates). But his rants are

I've played over 30 online games. FrannyT has around 300 games. I'm sure the others are somewhere in between that.there's a big difference in experience from 10 to 30 IMO.
