from watching the game... bears still look horrible. it wasnt so much the bears winning the game as it was the packers losing the game. looks like the cowboys are the runaway favorites in the NFC now.Just when everyone underestimates the Bears.... I sleep well toniteA little bit of Grease is all we needed

You accidentally you hit the nail in the coffin, the packers lost the game with turnovers, not the bears, turnovers is what has been killing the bears all season. This is the secret to success, shhh let the other teams make mistakesfrom watching the game... bears still look horrible. it wasnt so much the bears winning the game as it was the packers losing the game. looks like the cowboys are the runaway favorites in the NFC now.Just when everyone underestimates the Bears.... You were saying? On the bright side they saved money by not having to expand their trophy case, so they have that going for them, ....BTW, how'd that game turn out for ya??What's funny is how all the haters disappeared last year after the Bears went to the SB. We heard the same thing the entire season over and over again. The Bears suck. They may make the playoffs but won't go far. Well, where'd they all go after we went to the SB? Not a single one of them stepped up to the plate and said they were wrong. The same that always happens around here. Just the same old tired bs about how the NFC was weak and anyone could've went to the SB in the NFC. So spare me with the Bears fans have stopped posting shtick. We're in every Bears thread on here.Funny how all the Bear fans have stopped posting. Most of the bandwagon is gone!!![]()

The Bears season wasn't just about injuries. The front office didn't get the job done last offseason and it showed throughout the 07' season. If the Bears don't upgrade at the skill positions on offense (especially QB) and add a playmaker on defense...08' won't be any different for them. The Packers were expected to be a 6-10 to 9-7 type team this season but the youth on the roster shined while Favre showed he still had some game. Even if Brett retires I would expect the Packers to have a better record than the Bears next season. Reason #1: Green Bay has a great front office while Chicago's management is brutal.TitusIII said:Both teams should be good next season, assuming the Bears don't lose 2/3 of their lineup to injuries once again.
Actually, that would be incorrect - their season wasn't 'officially over' until December. And I wasn't the one talking the smack on this thread. I am merely the voice of reason, as NOBODY will be expanding their trophy case. The Bears still did not have to expand the trophy case because their season was done by mid-november?You were saying? On the bright side they saved money by not having to expand their trophy case, so they have that going for them, ....BTW, how'd that game turn out for ya??What's funny is how all the haters disappeared last year after the Bears went to the SB. But we added yet another division title to our resume..Actually, that would be incorrect - their season wasn't 'officially over' until December. And I wasn't the one talking the smack on this thread. Old school rivalries are what it's all about. There is no finer rivalry than Bears-Packers. This rivaly is special. Both are founding members of the NFL. Both dominant in different eras. Big city vs small town. Favre vs the twenty-something QBs Da Bears have started during the same time period. Etc, etc, etc.As a Bears fan, I couldn't ask for a more hated, yet respected, adversary then the Pack.See you suckas next season. Now not so much........![]()
The Bears were not good when they were completely healthy this year. They need a QB...they need more help on the Oline...they need a real running back. And their defense has constantly been getting hurt...might be time to replenish there.I agree with the Vikings and Lions thing though. I think the Vikings and Packers will fight for the division...the Bears will fight for the basement again.TitusIII said:Both teams should be good next season, assuming the Bears don't lose 2/3 of their lineup to injuries once again. The Vikings and Lions should be improved as well. The NFC North is up for grabs, but I guess this is the way of the NFL nowadays...as one or two significant injuries can kill a season...
Then move.I don't really like the Bears fans, the team, Jay Cutler, Matt Forte.....as a Packer fan living in Chi-town, it makes me borderline nauseous anytime locals mention the team as a playoff contender. Yeah, that's right.
Update?Lovie owns the Pack.![]()
Says the guy whose LB would rather make commercials than actually play the game.Probably Urlachers last Packer/Bear game as well. Guy has dominated the "most overrated player" category for so long it will be a bit strange not to see him out there anymore, getting blasted out of the hole, on his back, lost in traffic once again while Briggs is doing all the real work …

You missed Marshal talking out his ### too. He's a clown. A good WR, but still a clown.Trash talking galore by both teams. Awesome! Finley saying the Bears are better off without Urlacher.Briggs calling Finley "an idiot."
Maybe Finley should worry more about catching the ball and being a part of a powerful offense than about the Bears linebackers. Guy has been a turd for his entire career.
Thats alright we will take the few weeks off in return for another 3.5 sacks on Culter Sunday.By the way I agree this could possibly be Cutler's last Packers/Bears game if he keeps getting killed out there. Arizona here I come he is thinking lol.And condition his "Fabio wanna be" hair.Says the guy whose LB would rather make commercials than actually play the game.Probably Urlachers last Packer/Bear game as well. Not sure how much Finley's was trash talk...sort of a compliment to the rest of that team (maybe a bit of trash towards Urlacher who won't even play). It was way low on the list of dumb things Finley has said.'flapgreen said:Trash talking galore by both teams. Forte. Yep. Screw that. Bears fans can learn to root for a real football team. The person in the right - me - shouldn't be the one who has to move. Then move.I don't really like the Bears fans, the team, Jay Cutler, Matt Forte.....as a Packer fan living in Chi-town, it makes me borderline nauseous anytime locals mention the team as a playoff contender. Oh...it was definitely a slam on Urlacher...but lost in the idiocy of both he and Briggs...it actually is a compliment to the rest of the team being good without him.Again...very low on the list of dumb things Finley has said. And notice Briggs did not even dispute his point.I highly doubt that was meant as a compliment to anyone. Not sure how much Finley's was trash talk...sort of a compliment to the rest of that team (maybe a bit of trash towards Urlacher who won't even play). It was way low on the list of dumb things Finley has said.'flapgreen said:Trash talking galore by both teams. The Packers tight end said the Bears could be better off without Urlacher because he is slow and not moving as well as replacement middle linebacker Nick Roach. Joining SiriusXM NFL Radio this afternoon with hosts Jim Miller (the former Bears QB) and Pat Kirwan, Urlacher responded.“If he thinks that, that’s fine,” Urlacher said. “Just like a couple of years ago, I think, he tore his ACL and the Packers were actually better without him. You know, they won the Super Bowl. I hope we can duplicate that as well because it won’t hurt my feelings if we go on and win the Super Bowl without me like they did without him.
Really? He wasn't bracketed by double and triple coverage all game? Try covering him man to man Sunday....see how that works out for ya.Hasn't been a clown as a Bear. something like that...Jennings chimed in too...saying Marshall was smart begging to be man on man...and that he was daring Chicago to go man up on him too and not play cover 2i think it all started with Cutler telling the Packers "good luck" trying to stop Marshallthen, the Packers shut him down, and Woodson made some comments about Cutler sucking and just throwing them the ball or somethingthen Marshall started his yacking about double and triples yada yada yadathen Finley said Urlacher is old and slow (which he is) and the Bears are better off w/o himthen Briggs called Finley an idiotthen Urlacher said something then i went to mcdonalds for a frappe'
