lol Where will I ever spend all that money I'm gonna make from this?I looked at all this season's games involving teams still alive (minus the Cardinals, who have no chance of playing in the SB). About 88% of them were 24 or less. Lots of good defenses, which is of course typical of playoff teams. But what makes this year a little different (I think) is the relative lack of high-powered offenses.
Since you created a contest I have very little chance of winning now, I must call you out on this....The unanswered.Questions that have a running total for its determination but may need to wait for the Super Bowl conclusion(for now):
Will the Cardinals allow more total points in the postseason than the Steelers?
62 = Arizona
38 = Pittsburgh
Will there be at least one player who has 300 or more total rushing yards in the postseason?
1. Edgerrin James ARI 203
2. Willie Parker PIT 193
Questions that, most likely, need to wait for the conclusion of the Super Bowl to be determined:
Will the overall postseason rushing yardage leader come from an AFC team?
1. Edgerrin James ARI 203
2. Willie Parker PIT 193
Will the total combined postseason points scored by AFC teams be greater than the total combined postseason points scored by NFC teams?
231 = NFC
205 = AFC

18 = Wild Card Weekend
12 = Divisional Weekend
Will there be at least one game in which the LOSING team scores 30 or more points?
TBD
Will there be at least one game in which the winning team turns the ball over 4 or more times?
TBD
Will there be at least three successful two-point conversions in the postseason?
0 = Wild Card Weekend
0 = Divisional Weekend
1 = Conference Championships
Questions that, most likely, need to wait for the conclusion of the Superbowl to be determined:
Will the AFC team win the Super Bowl?
TBD
Will the TOTAL number of points scored in the Super Bowl be greater than the number of points scored by the WINNING TEAM in the BCS National Championship Game?

TBD
Will there be a rushing TD of 10 yards or longer in the Super Bowl?
TBD
Will there be a passing TD of 25 yards or longer in the Super Bowl?

Warner to Harrison- 100 yards ?The unanswered.Will there be a passing TD of 25 yards or longer in the Super Bowl?

Um, I got 900 reasons to hope you are right in that assessmentI know the scores are not official (and it doesn't make much difference to my sad score) but I think more than 40 different players scored touchdowns.
-QGThrowing doesn't count - it's based on the dude who ended up in the endzone with the ball.Did a littleIn no particular order...Arizona: (7) Warner, Fitz, Boldin, A.Rolle, Hightower, Edge, B.PatrickAtlanta: (4) M.Ryan, M.Turner, J.Peelle, R.WhiteIndy: (3) Manning, Wayne, AddaiSand Diego: (5) Tomlinson, Sproles, Rivers, V.Jackson, L.NanneeBaltimore: (5) E.Reed, McClain, Flacco, Mason, McGaheeMiami: (2) Pennington, R.BrownMinnesota: (1) PetersonPhiladelphia: (5) A.Samuel, Westbrook, McNabb, B.Celek, D.JacksonTenn: (1) C.JohnsonPittsburgh: (7) Rothlisberger, S.Holmes, W.Parker, H.Miller, G.Russell, Polamalu, J.HarrisonNYGiants: (0)Carolina: (3) J.Stewart, S.Smith, DelhommeDo defensive touchdowns count? analysis for the heck of it. I'm sure the Turk will have some more intricate and fascinating stuff
Anyhow, based on the provisional results:16 of the correct answers were "Yes". There were two entries that guessed every answer as "Yes", good for 5092.23 points. They tied for 4643th out of 5794 entries.19 of the correct answers were "No". FBG must be a natural breeding ground for pessimists as there were 6 entries that guess every answer as "No", good for 7513.15 points. They fared better, tying for 587th place.In terms of picking favorites vs. underdogs, the following were the results (without getting into mathematical exactitude, all favorites had point values less that 348):24 of the correct answers were "Favorites". There were no entries with this property (since which answer was the "favorite" at any given time was a moving target, this is not surprising). If there was such an entry, it would have had 6758.54 points, good for 1513th place.11 of the correct answers were "Underdogs". Remarkably, there were 3 entries that had all the underdogs as choices (must've just made it under the deadline I would guess). These entries had 5846.54 points, good for a tie in 3276th place.The highest possible score was 12,605.38. Congrats to Mr./Ms. 205720 who was the (provisional) winner and the only entry to break 10k, finishing with 10,022.84. It'd be kind interesting to know what the lowest scoring 35-selection entry was.Anyhow, I'm all geeked out for the night
-QGSorry about that. We are indeed now official. Congrats to you and the other prize winners. I'm not sure exactly what the timetable is, but the winners will be contacted by Dodds or Clayton.Is the contest still unofficial? I am in second and am pretty excited!
