I voted for McNutt again, for like the 4th straight poll. I'm high on this guy so I will keep voting for him. :football:

I'm with ya on this... my homer instincts are probably driving this though.
Are you from Iowa?
I'm orignally from Iowa, but currently live in south Dakota.
I'm originally from Iowa as well. Grew up half there and half in NorCal. Still have tons of family in Iowa (and Minnesota).Re McNutt: I know he probably isn't the freak athlete that many like to see at the combine, but he is a smart WR (former QB) that knows how to position his body and make grabs. His speed isn't elite, but isn't bad, particularly when you factor in his size. If he goes to the right team, I think he has a shot at really producing down the road.

This  He has only been playing the WR position for 3 years. He was recruited by Iowa to play QB but lost the QB battle so he was asked to switch to WR. McNutt has made tremendous strides each and every year and I believe he will get even better as he workes on his craft.

Grew up in Des Moines and went to ISU, but I still like McNutt. 4.54 is a decent number for someone his size so I'm not worried about his speed.

I'm from Cedar Rapids (folks grew up in Dubuque), and the fam is heavily Hawkeye leaning. However, I have two step-brothers that got engineering degrees from ISU. Anyway, I totally agree that McNutt's speed is fine, given his size. He isn't a burner, but he's fast enough. His game is more about body control, hands and intelligence, imo. These are characters I like for my rookie prospects. -And as KRS said, he's a relatively new WR, so I think he can still make significant strides.
