Those are all excellent choices. You can't sink any lower than being a former NFL player & millionaire who is in jail for life. All are nothing more than your lotto winner who blows it all within a couple of years and goes back to being a total loser.

Add in Charles Rogers.

 
Leonard Little

After leaving a birthday party in 1998, Little crashed into and killed Susan Gutweiler in St. Louis, Missouri. When tested, his blood alcohol level measured 0.19 percent, a level in excess of the statutory level of intoxication (0.08) in the state of Missouri. Little received four years probation and 1,000 hours of community service.[22]

On January 18, 2003, with charges dating back to 1999, Little was charged with communicating threats and making harassing calls according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police department. Little's attorney, Scott Rosenblum, said the charges were filed after Little and his former girlfriend ended their relationship. Rosenblum added, "We don't think this case is going anywhere. It was groundless from the beginning".[23]

On April 24, 2004, he was arrested again for driving while intoxicated after being stopped by The Ladue Police Department for driving 78 in a 55 mile-per-hour zone on Interstate 64. At the time he had red eyes, smelled of alcohol and failed three roadside sobriety tests. He later admitted drinking alcohol to the police.[24] After being convicted of misdemeanor speeding but acquitted of DWI, Little was sentenced to two years' probation on May 6, 2005.

i'm gonna go with Hernandez....I have a special place in my heart for the thug gangsta wannabees....

I can't get real upset with the boys that like their weed and their booze and their script clubs.....and some of the bad decisions they make along with these things....

but the wannabees.....they feel the need to be hard....like it makes em a better man than the rest of us when they let everybody know that you "don't dare dis me or my homies"....chicks really dig that attitude, especially when you are behind bars....makes em hot.....yeah there's nothing worse than being dissed, even being in prison for the rest of your life.....at least then everybody knows, especially the chicks (cause thats why we do 90% of the things we do anyway)....that you don't disrespect me or my homies....

second place goes to any player that doesn't pay $50,000 a year to have a driver on their payroll.....I know you make a lot of money and want to drive that nice car you bought with that money, but for god's sake, drive it to the club and then have your driver figure out how to come get you and get you and others home safely.....

 
Matt Jones - eerily similar story

The career of Jaguars receiver Matt Jones took another damaging turn Monday when he was booked into the Washington County Detention Center in Fayetteville, Ark., for violating terms of the plea deal that placed him in a drug intervention program.

A participant in the Washington County Drug Court because of his felony cocaine arrest last July, Jones was booked at 6:21 p.m. Monday for possession of a controlled substance and held on a $150,000 bond, according to Washington County records.

But Jones’ arrest Monday actually stemmed from a positive result on a random test for alcohol taken on Feb. 27, at approximately 6:30 p.m.

“We’re aware of the situation and are still gathering information,” said Jaguars general manager Gene Smith, who declined to comment further.

Terms of Jones’ drug treatment program call for participants to abstain from drugs and alcohol, and individuals are tested randomly for the substances. Positive results from Jones’ alcohol test came in late last week, and he appeared in court Monday to face Judge Mary Ann Gunn, who presides over the drug court, about the positive result.

According to Lisa Dennis, deputy prosecuting attorney for the drug court, the program’s random tests can detect alcohol consumption from as far out as 72 hours prior to the sample being taken. Jones’ sample was sent by the court to a laboratory in Memphis, Tenn., where the positive result was confirmed.

“He came to court and was upfront with Judge Gunn that he drank beer before the test when he was playing golf with friends,” Dennis said. “But the judge wanted to emphasize that even having a beer is against the rules. It’s not a terrible infraction, but he broke a rule.”

During the court appearance, Jones was given the choice between 10 days of jail or admittance into a residential drug treatment facility for six weeks. Jones initially chose treatment because he didn’t want his mother, Paula, to see him taken to jail. Gunn then suggested that the receiver consider what a six-week stint in drug treatment might do to his NFL career. Upon urging from his mother, Jones chose jail, where he’ll remain until 8 a.m. Sunday.

Jones was initially set to spend 10 days in jail. But Jones told Gunn he needed to be back in Jacksonville by Monday to undergo a body assessment scheduled by the club, which begins offseason conditioning next week.

He could not read and had a drug problem. I don't think he was dumb, though. I always thought he came across okay in interviews.
 
Bengals fullback Stanley Wilson getting coked up the night before Super Bowl 23 was one of the dumbest decisions ever made by a player. This is a guy who was suspended two times previously by the league. The Bengals had to hold him out of the Super Bowl and he never played in the league again.

Guy with Jets is Antonio Cromartie. Derrick Thomas was another big time seed spreader. Speaking of Thomas, he needs to be considered here as controversial as it may be. He died as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident while he was speeding on an icy, snowy highway.

The dude killed multiple people... Not sure you can call him a wannabe at that point.
 
I don't know that any player mentioned here outside of Gordon is the waste of potential that he is. Has any other player here achieved league-leading level of play? I mean he let the league in receiving despite missing two games in 2013. That's amazing.

This makes him incredibly successful at spreading his genes with a sufficient variety of partners that his his offspring have remarkably high chances to survive and carry on no matter what economic, epidemic, social, or natural disasters strike.

Does this make him dumber than guys who can still afford private jets in their 70's? I know PhD's who would argue the opposite.

I don't think Stanley is getting enough love here...doing blow the night before the Super Bowl is a big move in itself but getting bagged takes it to the next level...

I don't think Stanley is getting enough love here...doing blow the night before the Super Bowl is a big move in itself but getting bagged takes it to the next level...

Didn't know that fact about him. At least he's better off than Travis Henry. Wouldn't Cromartie be a similar situation?
