Dingle!
A buddy and I were talking yesterday and he mentioned that he never remembers his dreams, but for some reason had remembered one recently. I regularly remember my dreans, and I'm wondering how many members of the FFA actually remember their dreams, and if they'd be willing to share their latest evening exploits with the group. For instance, last night I dreamt that I was being chased with a guy by a chainsaw, and no matter how hard I ran, I couldn't get away. However, he couldn't catch me either. Then all of a sudden I had a gun and was in the middle of a gun fight, mowing down everyone in sight. I got shot a couple times, but it didn't hurt (much to my surprise) so I just kept killing people. Is this a sad cry for more action in my life? Am I scared of something? Am I not getting enough lovin' from my wife? I don't know if the last one has anything to do with the dream, but it can't hurt to mention it.

Anyone else care to share?

3 guys go camping in their new tent.

After a night's sleep, the guy sleeping on the left of the tent wakes up in a cold sweat and tells the others "I had the most horrible nightmare that somebody was trying to pull my wiener off!"

The guy sleeping on the right says "Weird! I had the exact same dream!"

The guy sleeping in the middle says "I had a dream that I was skiing".

I always remember my dreams, and unless I only get a few hours of sleep, they're usually really vivid. And they're almost always action dreams, which is awesome but kind of weird. Fought a bunch of Aztecs with a stone knife once, lots of blood in that one. Woke up as one of them was coming at me with a 2x6. Yeah, I don't get it either.

A weird recurring theme in my dreams is salvaging junk after the apocalypse. Like, I'll know it's a TWD-type situation with overgrown cities and no society, and I'm in some type of abandoned building salvaging stuff to survive. Except in my dream I'm salvaging unimportant #### like action figures and staples, and I can never find what I'm looking for.

One recurring dream I have is I am trying to open a safe and the combination to the safe is inside the safe and I grow increasingly frustrated at not being able ot come up with the combination. Logically it is stupid to want to get into the safe to retrieve the combination, but hey I don't control my dreams, I just dream them.

Sounds like something my employer would tell me to do.

This is representative of a problem you have in your waking life that frustrates and consumes you, and subconsciously, you know the solution, but you don't realize it.

(I made that up).

I have some awesome dreams, but unless I really concentrate I forget them after I get back to sleep. I need to keep a recorder by my bed so that I can dictate some notes.

I have a reoccurring dream that I can jump really high. So high that I almost hurt myself when I come down.

Another one is that I am being chased by an old man with a machete and he keeps yelling, "It's legal to kill trespassers in Texas with a machete!" I don't live in Texas.

That reminds me of another dream I sometimes have and that is I can jump and if I keep pumping my legs hard enough I can essentially hover. Not sure what good it would do me - but in the dreams it is impressive.

Hovering is very underrated.

Last night I dreamt that I was playing football with a bunch of friends only we were playing in some sort of arcade, and instead of a football it was a dixie cup full of water.

Sounds like you're trapped in a glass case of emotion.

Had a dream last night that I tried to catch my parents' min pin. I caught him and he bit my finger hard and wouldn't let go. And he was smiling.

I'm sure if I ever caught the pest, that's exactly what would happen.

Such a dream last night! Seemed 100% real. I never used to remember my dreams until the last several months -- probably the alcohol.

I was sitting in a packed upscale Italian restaurant on Federal Hill. Not sure which one. A ton of mobsters break in and lock the place up. Their motives aren't clear in the dream, but one of the bent-noses pulls up a chair to my table, casually lights a cigar and says "You are number 31." In other words, when the shooting starts, I will be the 31st person to die. I sit in silence for what seemed like forever, then I start squirming. Mobster asks what's wrong. "Nothing," I replied. "I just need to use the bathroom."

"So GO," he says, much to my surprise.

I walk to the bathroom, and to my delight, there is a window. I lift up the window, peer left and right to make sure that none of the bad guys are outside, then I kicked out the screen, launched myself outside and dashed to my car. I think I might have actually screamed "F### YEAH!!!" in my sleep.

None of the restaurants that I know of on Federal Hill have bathrooms with windows, but my dreams evidently allow for some creative liberties. And even if they had windows, I doubt I could fit through them. I woke up, and the day felt like a gift. Just hope it's not a pair of socks!

:hifive:

two dreams that i have are one i am in a parking lot and can not find my car and i just keep looking and looking and the second one is that i am back in high school and i have an exam for a class but i forgot to go to the class the entire semester i have those two a lot in real life my dream is to have a 75 charger take that to the bank brohans

I had a dream the other night that I was in bed with my wife and also her from like 20 years ago, when she bleached her hair blond to surprise me.

Don't remember the sex though :kicksrock: but we were laying around naked in bed.

I had a dream just last night that my company's office manager walked by and asked me- "what's this 'Free For All' that keeps popping up on your computer". I wish to hell I could remember how I answered it in my dream, because I was one slick suave mofo and made her laugh and say "oh- ok, then", before walking away.

Actually true.

dammit. that dream sucks.
