I think I have watched every episode of every season and each time an all star version comes on, I can't remember some of the contestants from their previous appearances. I am getting too old :)

 
They really should have given the rocker guys who had their passport stolen another chance. Especially over those hicks from Kentucky that they kept giving second chances to when they were on.

 
Actually, I liked Leo and Jamal too, so I'll be pulling for them. Really, anyone but the twins will be okay in my book.

 
The 23rd is next Sunday.

Do we need the Big Brother team again? Some of these teams are getting a 3rd chance, not that excited.

 
I really wish they wouldn't have brought back teams for the third try, even though I like a couple of the teams who fall into that category. Overall, a couple teams I can't stand, a few blah, and a few I like. There isn't a single team I am excited to see back.

 
Hopefully Big Brother goes home early so I can actually watch this season. I forced myself to sit through their season of BB (I knew one of the housemates) and had to mute the TV every time she started to talk since she just screamed at the camera.

 
Hesitant :blackdot: Not sure if I can stomach twinsies or Big Brother. Ugh, or mother and deaf son.

This will be the third try for some teams. Too much.

I would rather see a redemption season of teams that were eliminated after round 1.

Agree with the first part, but disagree with the second - there is a reason most teams are eliminated after 1 round, most of the time they are terrible.

 
Can someone explain in a nutshell how this show works? Set the DVR to record the first episode, but have never watched more than 1/2 an episode up to now. But I am a big Survivor fan, and while I have been told they are very different, they are by the same producers, right?

 
Holy crap this is easily the most annoying team ever if history is any indication. I can count at least 5 teams that I would like to see fall off of a cliff. Well 4 because I kind of like the female portion of the mom/deaf kid and gay guy/girl internet team.

And it doesn't help that the Kentucky team who I like is already taken off before it started. Well at least half of them and replaced with freaking Mallory :kicksrock:

Just starting to watch. Tough for team Kentucky but Mallory is back... AWESOME!!!!

And, whenever Rachel is on... her team is a favorite. Go team Rachel!!!!!!! Only deserving person so far.

Let's see what happens.

While an exciting ending (best part being the ##### that got the notice that they didn't need to keep going), this was my most satisfying ending ever. I've never wanted a team to win or lose as much as I wanted them to lose tonight. The season just got better by losing them. We got to see their dysfunction enough to know why we hated them and we no longer have to see them. Best ending ever.

It's pretty much just a race through various cities with challenges mixed in, get to point A do a challenge get to point B. They usually have "roadblocks" each episode where the teams have to choose between 2 tasks, one is something more physical the other more detailed oriented. The more physical teams usually seem to win the whole show.

There is not really much conniving compared to Survivor and not much strategy just competing in challenges and hoping you get a good cabby.

If you Survivor you'll probably like this show.

Thank god the Twinnies are out already. As soon as it was down to them and Youtube at the bubbles, I was happy knowing at least one was going home.

The "check and wait" bubble ride was previously done in TAR Australia, I think, with gondolas at another location. Quite frustrating for the teams. Love it.

 
I don't know how long it takes for that carousel thing to make a complete rotation, but whatever they were paying the cameraman who was stuck in there with the twins, it was not enough.

Looks like they drowned their sorrows over their last loss in ice cream. Guessing their going to need even more now.

That or people who lost due to some freak thing (i.e. teams who pulled out due to injury like Achilles Dad who is back this season,, fat brothers from season 5, teams who lost their passports like The rockers, Aspergers guy, the mother/son team)

Amazing Race 25 "Tough breaks and eye candy".

It's not that hard. Get rid of the annoying teams forever.

 
The twins were annoying, im glad they got ousted.

Early favorites are the Cowboys and Kentucky people.

 
The Twinnies are out! :lol:

Yee haw! My least favorite team in the last decade.

Now let's get Brendan and Rachel out next week for a perfect start.

Could only find the finale with the 2 guys crossing the finish line. I don't remember anything like what you said here.

 
From what I remember about season 1, the second-place team ran all the way to the final mat thinking they'd won. I think the guy on the team said he didn't realize the other team was on the final mat with them even as he was standing next to them. It wasn't until Phil said 'Congrats on second place' that he figured it out.

The third place team was a half-continent away and got the message that the race had already been won when they were still a city behind, when they completed a task and were told it was over in the clue envelope they received.

ETA: looking at the video on youtube, looks like they got almost all the way to the mat before the guy said "wait, Rob and Brennan are there." That's when the girl on the team noticed they didn't win.

You mean Brenchel. There are still too many teams at this point for her to feel pressure and melt down. But when she does it will be nuclear.

 
It wasn't until watching the episode that I really knew who some of the teams were, and I forgot how annoying some of them are. Am thrilled about the Twinnies being gone.

I'd be happy if any of the following won: Connor/Dad (achilles heel), Leo and Jamal (I like them for some reason), Cowboys, Globetrotters

I'd be happy if I never saw any of the following again: Mother/Deaf Son, Youtubers, Twinnies

I don't really care one way or the other: Country Singers, Mark/Mallory (though she went to my alma mater so I should probably cheer her on), Mark and Mallory, Brenchel (I must have missed their first season because I've never heard of them, but if they named themselves "Brenchel", I want to punch them both in the neck).

Yes. They are bad enough on a good day, but when something starts going wrong Rachel will have a complete "fake" meltdown and it will be excruciating to watch.

 
Watched it last night. I love it one of the hated teams goes out first. Goodbye Twinnies!

Next Brenchal, Bloggers or Deaf kid and mom. Any of those three will be good.

 
I don't hate Luke and his mom nearly as much as the rest of you. I can't fault him for his handicap. Sure he's a little over the top, but his mom pretty much rocks. Nowhere near as annoying as the Twinnies, Bloggers or Brenchel. I put them in the same boat as the Afghanimals, who I find extremely annoying from time to time, but strangely likable.
