I enjoy this movie although I'm not really sure why. I think Pitt and Clooney have a good onscreen connection. Bernie Mac is also pretty funny. Thoughts?

"No, sir. I haven't been drinking. No, sir. I wouldn't even think about leaving the state."

I never saw the original, but absolutely loved it. Ocean's 12, not so much. Haven't seen 13.

Turk Malloy: Watch it, bud.

Virgil Malloy: Who you calling bud, pal?

Turk Malloy: Who you calling pal, friend?

Virgil Malloy: Who you calling friend, jackazz?

Turk Malloy: Don't call me a jackazz.

Virgil Malloy: I just did call you a jackazz.

Just started on AMC. One of my favorite movies of the past 15 years. Can't help watching it every time it comes on.

Was this really made 13 years ago??? Jesus, time flies. :(

I love that nobody really wanted to make a sequal untill cloney got the studio to pay for a four month summer vacation in Europe.

Bernie Mac and Carl Reiner bonded very strongly on the set of this movie. It seems that Meathead was always embarrassed by his father's act, but Bernie loved all those old-time Borscht Belt comedians, and knew by heart all of Carl's old bits.

You just knew the sequel (and the one after it) wouldn't measure up. No way it could.
12 had no shot at being any good. 11 was "perfect" (for what it is) and so well revived and watched the studio demanded a sequal get made. Once the cast knew that they were in charge and cared more about a summer in Europe then making a good movie. It was only after 12 got such bad reviews and semi floped that they were able to get the cast to "do it right" for 13.

"You're Bobby Caldwells kid from Chicago?"

"Yea."

"Its nice there. You like it?"

"Yea"

"Thats great. Get in the ### #### house."
