No traffic on Labor Day? (1 Viewer)

Anyone else experience this phenomenon today?

Traveled a highway that has bumper to bumper traffic basically daily and didn't hit a lick of traffic at 10am or heading back at 7pm.

Only explanation is that the weather forecast called for a crappy day and it turned out real nice, even so these roads would still typically have massive traffic. Thanks meteorologists, I guess.

Anyone else surprisingly experience no traffic today?

Labor Day is always lighter than Memorial Day and the Fourth.

The shore traffic here is usually miserable on Labor Day, it was extremely odd making record timing at peak hours today.

Article is 2 years old, but It breaks down the terrible traffic on Labor Day. Really crazy that the roads were just wide open today.

Traffic sucked in Wisconsin (between Dells and Madison) heading east toward Milwaukee/Chicago around 2pm.

It was crazy here. Had to make an emergency PBR run to Hy-Vee, and had to sit three deep at the stop sign.

Daughter just got back from a Vegas weekend with her girlfriends. Normally takes 4 1/2 hours. Took almost 11. 3 hours to go 5 miles on the 15 getting out of town.

I was heading up 90 from the beltline toward the 94 split to milwaukee and I couldnt believe the traffic coming the other way. The traffic to milwaukee was pretty good. There were a few spots where traffic slowed to about 60 because people can't figure out that you should pass the car ahead of you at a rate of speed greater than .25 miles per hour faster than them. Otherwise smooth sailing.
