Go.
Dam..I was hoping he was done for the day!!Decker was back in on the TD pass.
DittoNot gonna lie, I wouldn't mind seeing Denver let this game get away from them.
Hey Greg, since you're in here - fill me in on my earlier question, if you don't mind.Poor coaching by Wade at the end. Should have run the ball on 3rd down and make Denver spend a timeout.
3rd quarter. Posted that right after it happened.what quarter was this?Andre drops a perfect pass for a TD. Wow.
I know what you mean, though I don't think I've ever seen intentional grounding called in a situation like that where he wasn't under pressure when the ball came out unintentionally. There is an exception for passes affected by contact with a defensive player, though that wouldn't apply to this instance.Hoss Style said:Hey Greg, since you're in here - fill me in on my earlier question, if you don't mind.Greg Russell said:Poor coaching by Wade at the end. Admittedly, I've had a few beers and am probably missing something. Scroll a few posts up and see if you can fill me on what I'm missing.
He was in earlier, haven't noticed him specifically in a bit. I can't say this definitively, but I am under the impression Denver has maybe used a fair amount of 2 TE formations instead of 3 WR. Have noticed Tamme and Virgil Green more than I'd have expected. Is Caldwell playing at all?
Karim is getting touches. How is it Houston is within 3 and yet Dennis Johnson has under 30 yds rushing?!
He's like 4th string. I hope you weren't expecting him to be Barry Sanders or something. How is it Houston is within 3 and yet Dennis Johnson has under 30 yds rushing?!
Yes, I would have gone with Yates, for same reason I was fine with going with Keenum when he was healthy.Seriously, how could Yates be ANY worse?
Glad you chimed in. I'm thinking along the same lines you are here. I really start to wonder, though, if a QB actually thought of this, he could "act" like he lost the ball at the end of a throw to avoid a sack. I think it would be too risky in the fact that he might not time it right and it actually becomes a fumble, though. But if it was a big play, at the end of the game and he couldn't afford the loss of yards, I could see him doing it.I know what you mean, though I don't think I've ever seen intentional grounding called in a situation like that where he wasn't under pressure when the ball came out unintentionally. They could decide it doesn't meet the "imminent loss of yardage because of pressure from the defense" part, I suppose. But I think the NFL probably has just told refs, if the ball comes out unintentionally, don't throw the flag unless he was going down already. Not really sure, either.
No I figured he'd get me a few more points than Joique Bell guess I was wrong. He's like 4th string. I hope you weren't expecting him to be Barry Sanders or something. How is it Houston is within 3 and yet Dennis Johnson has under 30 yds rushing?!
Good lord. I know all teams have injuries, but we have been decimated this year when you combine both sides of the ball.@MikeKlis is reporting "there is concern" Von Miller's knee injury is "significant." Could have major playoff implications.
