Saw the first trailer for this today. I'm cautiously optimistic for this. I lovelovedloved the first and don't know what this be be a formulaic franchise.

3/28 was LA and NY only I believe. National release will be some time in April, I'm guessing.

Looks like Chicago has a coupe spots but that's too far away. But you're right, it's limited release this week.

Sorry, I was likely replying on my phone and doing something. I loved the first and would hate for this to be just another action franchise.

Saw it yesterday afternoon. Good, not quite as good as the first one. The plot seemed to be somewhat unfocused in spots.

Saw it last night.

Letdown was inevitable after the huge hype. Worth seeing but the first half was hard to get through. Whereas the 1st Raid was a simple straightforward plot the first part of Berandal was needlessly complicated and had too many character introductions.

Also, nothing I felt was as epic as the threeway fight in the first. The car chase and final fight were pretty good though. Hammer Girl and Baseball Bat Man were also fun characters.
