EVERYTHING!I still don't see what is wrong with Rb8.
Rb3? RxR we want to exchange pieces at every opportunity.
Rd1? Bb4+
Ke2? h5 with Bh6 coming

What am I missing here?

Agreed 10,000,000,000,000%! My suggested line is above.Sand said:Looking at our white game. I need to do better analysis but what I played with shows that without a rook we are in pretty big trouble if we give up the c column. Ant other comments on our position there?
Honestly we are in deep #### once they move Ng6, but I can't see anything better than Bc4. Since we have 8 hours left and it is Easter night, I'm going to make the move.White
Bc4 followed by Nd2, Kg2, f3, Bf2
Or we can just move the Q but I think this loses the c file.
this looks good to me also, but still want to look at alternatives.as black
I like Rg7.
I agree and will look later tonight.this looks good to me also, but still want to look at alternatives.as black

2 days, 2 hours from now. Not a huge thing. I just missed out on seeing it yesterday.how much time do we have?
After we lock down the F column I see moving the a pawn and then bringing the light bishop over to force the rook off of the f column completely. Then they #### their pants when they start to see the a pawn start its inexorable march.Black
I don't see a credible alternative to Rg7 or Ra7.
Rg7 preserves castling flexibility, Ra7 opens up the rook a little.
Slight preference to Rg7, I think, but there's a decent chance that they follow with Rf3 and force our other rook, too. At that point, I think we have a safe standoff on the pawn, and hopefully, we can start working on something else.
I don't see a big difference between the two moves, as I think we'll be moving both. After we lock down the F column I see moving the a pawn and then bringing the light bishop over to force the rook off of the f column completely. Done.i'll give a 3rd vote to Rg7. i like it slightly better than Ra7 and don't see anything else better than those.
Qc2 - gotta stay on the defensive hereRegarding our white game I see no other choice other than Qc2. 2 votes. Can I get a third or other thoughts?
Will make that move here. No movement in the other game.Qc2 - gotta stay on the defensive hereRegarding our white game I see no other choice other than Qc2. 2 votes. Can I get a third or other thoughts?
I agree on both. I think we will be able to move a5 and that will signal that they are in trouble. They have tempo right now as we gave that up for the material we have. Haven't turned it around yet, but it is coming, IMO.white. i see nothing except f3.
black, i think we take back also. so hxg5.
think we'll ever get a chance to move a5 so we can then go Ba6? would we even want to?
