Little and Rice by a lot for me.
Did you watch Steve Smith this year? He was FANTASTIC. Just curious, do you think he can't repeat that and are down on him or you just like Little and Brittle Rice that much?
Smith was amazing this year. But he'll be 33 in May, the speed won't last forever. And perhaps I'm higher on Little than most but I think he's going to be terrific - he's only played the position a couple of years and still had 60+ catches as a rookie, Little is only going to get better IMO. Rice is an X factor -you can't count on him but if he stays healthy he could be good.

Little is worth more than Smith unless your league gives a bonus for past points. Sid is icing.

Just took over a dynasty team with Rodgers, Stafford, and not much else.

I gave: Stafford

I received J.Freeman, R.Bush, 2012 1st rd rookie pick (1.11), 2013 2nd rd rookie pick

Hard to judge until I find out who I get with the rookie picks, but I think at least gave my team something to work with.

I'm kind of against this deal. I realize why you did it, but I would have stayed with Stafford and attempted to build around him. If Freeman bounces back and/or your rookie picks pan out, it could be fine.

As I mentioned, I have Aaron Rodgers too, so I'm keeping him to build around. Stafford was just a backup QB for me.

Totally understand - would just think you might have been able to get something a bit better than Bush and a late 1st rounder for a top 4ish dynasty QB. But you gotta do what you gotta do.

Another option would have been to keep Stafford and hope he continues where he left off, while trading Rodgers for a king's ransom. That would have provided you with more things to work with and possibly been able to compete this coming season.

Exactly. Not to mention Stafford is only 23 and, if he repeats even close to what he did, his value will skyrocket to where Rodgers is now or higher due to his age. Traded the wrong QB.

Yeah, I can't see moving Newton or Stafford unless I got just an UNREAL deal. Both are so young and sooo darn good.

Prefer Team A side in both deals.

Didn't want to wait around another year to start rebuilding. And there's always the risk that Stafford gets injured again. This was the first year that he stayed healthy. Maybe it was just a fluke the first couple of years, but didn't want to take the chance of him getting hurt again, and his value sinking, before I could cash in.Maybe I could have tried getting more. Had Stafford in my trade bait, but wasn't getting any interest in him outside the team that I ended up trading him to.

I posted my trade a while back, but was astonished when the Stafford owner in my league accepted it.Gave:FreemanDMCVJaxGot:StaffordCharlesQuiz Rodgers

I don't know why you would have had to wait another year? Again, you could have traded Rodgers to a contending team with a weak QB for some solid RB and/or WR pieces to push your rebuild along.I do agree that Stafford is a risk still. Like I said above, I just traded for him, but to me it was worth the risk seeing what he could do when healthy. I'm hoping he's passed his injury days.

Ppr, 4 points passing, 4tds

Team A gives:

AP

Ben Roethlisberger

1.8

1.9

1.10

Team B gives:

1.1

Andre Johnson

Happened in a league I'm in. Not sure what to think of it tbh. Team A now has Nicks/Fitz/AJ at wr, and more than likely Rice/Richardson at rb.

Team B now has AP/Gore/Thomas at rb and Cruz/Marshall/blah, and will likekly flex Big Ben alongside Schaub.

Team B finished last last year, and team A finished 2nd.

I get that Team B is trying to improve in lots of areas, but imo you don't give up your best two assets to do it. I'm not sold on AP's recovery by next year. I guess if he returns to AP of old, and one of the late firsts hits, it could work well. Just a lot of if's for Team B imo, too many for my taste.

Agreed. If I were team B, I would look to move AJ for something, but not the 1.01 and certainly not for an injured RB. I own ADP and think he'll be back, but it won't be at the beginning of next year IMO.

Team A easily

Our league requires a massive cutdown to 14 skill position players pre-draft, and I was sitting on about 18-19 keepers. Packaging a 2 for 1, 3 for 1 or even 4 for 1 was imperative.

I gave:

Matt Ryan (I have Stafford)

Helu

Antonio Brown

Jared Cook (1.5 ppr)

I get:

Matt Forte

2012 2.5

Also,

I gave:

James Starks

I honestly think that's an awful trade for the guy giving up Andre and 1.1

Yeah, I can't see moving Newton or Stafford unless I got just an UNREAL deal. Both are so young and sooo darn good.
I think stafford is being massively overvalued here.
Stafford is easily my #2 Dynasty QB. He's 23 Just threw for 5k has Calvin and look out if the run game ever gets going.
Calvin is due like 20 mil and in last year of his deal. While he's likely to be in Detroit for the long haul, there is a chance he's not. What would that due to Stafford's value?

There is no chance Calvin is not in Detroit. They will resign him when the time comes.

wouldn't it be up to calvin to resign? Do you mean Detroit would re-sign him?

14 team, no PPR, TE=WR

Fighting Couch Potatoes V gave up:

Moore, Matt MIA QB

Celek, Brent PHI TE

Year 2012 Round 1 Draft Pick from Fighting Couch Potatoes V

Team X gave up:

Vick, Michael PHI QB

Bowe, Dwayne KCC WR

Pick will be 1.04, and I'm expecting the top two RBs + Luck to be gone in top 3. Need for immediate viable starting QB is acute as Kolb and M Moore are all I had going, and Vick s/b QB5-8 when healthy.

I like the trade for you. I think it is easy to overvalue the rookie picks and if QB is a need you get a decent one in return along with a WR with top 10 upside.

that is insane for the 1.04. If you go WR there, you hope for someone like Bowe. If you go QB, you hope for someone like Vick. To get both is almost like Buy One Get One for near free...
