Name my Cafe (1 Viewer)

Burgers & Brew
I was going to suggest this one.
Sounds more like a burger/beer joint.
Exactly. Who wants burgers with coffee? We need to trick customers.
This is a good point. I dont think the OP has thought this through.
White Castle is known for their burgers and coffee. Link: http://www.amazon.com/White-Castle-Premium-Ground-Coffee/dp/B006M2M5K8

In My Underpants Cafe

"Where'd you get that burger?"

"In My Underpants"

"Hey, where'd that coffee come from?"

"In My Underpants. Why?

That's a solid 8. It's a soft 8, but still.

I've got to pick up a bag of that. It's got one review, which is a glowing 5-star by somebody named Fred. Doesn't say if he's from Boston or not, but I assume he is.

You can also get it at Kroger and Walmart. Of course, buying it at a White Castle works too.

Right...but I offer these 2 key points for this:1) White Castle is open 24 hours...ya gotta have coffee if you're open all night for the late nighters and early birds.

2) White Castle serves breakfast. Ya gotta have coffee if you serve breakfast.

I don't think the OP mentioned either of these in his plans. If its mainly coffee and burgers I'm not seeing a problem with getting a seat.

"If you could make good coffee to get people in the door in the mornings and good burgers to get people in for lunch, then you shake the problem lots of places have, which is paying rent for a place that's only busy at breakfast OR lunch. It's like Caribou meets Hopdoddy."

White Castle has been serving coffee since it first opened in 1921. Back then their menu was hamburger, fries, coffee, and coke.

Here is an advertising poster for their coffee from the 1940's: https://server16007.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm4/item_viewer.php?CISOROOT=/p15005coll29&CISOPTR=195&CISOBOX=1&REC=10

The description of the poster even says: "White Castle restaurants, famous for coffee and hamburgers, were founded in Wichita, Kansas in 1921. In 1934 they moved their headquarters to Columbus, Ohio where they are still located today."

Also, some White Castles close at 1 AM, and only stay open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday.

ETA: it didn't add breakfast sandwiches to the menu until 1986.

^still, how many people are ordering burgers and coffee together? I'm betting not many. Most people would go for one or the other

Who cares if they order them together.

If people from 6 AM to 10 AM come in to buy coffee, and people from 10 AM to 2 PM come in to buy burgers, I'll go home with a good 8 hours of revenue.
