Rangers. Nash with 11 goals and St Louis with 15 points through the playoffs. Hank stands on his head and McDonagh voted MVP.

I ain't lying. The crystal ball says so.

I thought the Rangers opponent is not set yet. Could be either the Flyers or Columbus.

Kinda interesting how most of the best teams this year and in the midst of a cold streak entering the playoffs, perhaps leading credence to some of these top dogs getting upset early.

I think Anaheim's being slept on a bit, might throw some money at them, Boudreau in the playoffs and all.

Dallas is the last team to qualify, if Ducks gets a point in either of their final two games, that pairing is official.

Tampa can clinch the A2 spot with a win at Washington Sunday, the Central is still up in the air with Colorado and the Blues both losing tonight. Colorado goes to Anaheim Sunday, Blues host the Wings. Flyers can clinch the metro 3 spot with a win in either of their last two games, or a Jackets loss.

Good for the Hawks:

I don't ever remember walking around a locker room and seeing so many walking boots, casts, ice bags and ace bandages in my career

It's sounding as if Berglund's injury is serious, and the #stlblues will be without seven of their top 12 forwards Sunday.
From Kukla's Korner

Flyers have cooled off in the past couple of weeks, but I still think they can make some noise in the playoffs. If the first series is in New York, I'm a bit worried.

Eastern Conference match-ups all set. Only thing now is whether Tampa or Montreal get home ice in that series.

On behalf of the Blues contingent on this board, we look forward to talking hockey with you guys for one round.

Beyond that, we will probably be drinking heavily and cursing, so you will not want us around after that.

Blues and Blackhawks have been the two favorites to win the West for awhile. Amazing they could face off in round 1.

Kind of strange that, a year ago at this time, the Bruins hadn't faced another Original Six team besides Montreal in the playoffs in at least 35 years. Now they will have played the remaining four in a span of their last five series.

Leafs (1st time since 1973)

Rangers (1974)

Blackhawks (1978)

Red Wings (1957)

Can't believe the Wings lost to Carolina to cement this Bruins/Wings match-up.

Oh well. So much for earning the first seed.

Sad, but true.

This slump and all of these injuries to their forwards couldn't have come at a worse time. :wall:

NHL throws Miley Cyrus out of the Wells Fargo for playoff hockey!!

Apparently, NHL > Miley Cyrus. Her 4/22 show is gonna be postponed because of Flyers-Rangers.
Flyers vs Rangers: April 17-20-22-25-27-29-30

They're really dragging that out. Two 2-day breaks and then back to back for possible games 6 and 7.

Not sure which 2-3 matchup will be bigger knock-down battle: Rangers-Flyers or Sharks-Kings.

(STL is too injured to include that matchup)
