How are Gronk owners doing? (1 Viewer)

Lets see, looks like I have the following teams with Gronk:

League 1: 1-2, 7th in points

League 2: 1-2. 11th in points

League 3: 2-1, 7th in points

League 4: 2-1, 5th in points

Definitely below average of my teams but all except league 2 are in striking distance if he comes back this week or next week. Like my teams with the Graham, Cameron combo a lot more so far :-)

Updated through week 4 (I have to say that Gronk has not been worth the price tag if he doesn't come back this week):

Team 1: 2-2, 5th in points (AP, Antonio Brown and Julio Jones have been saving the team)

Team 2: 2-2, 6th in points (Fleener has been helping out some)

Team 3: 1-3, 11th in points (need Gronk badly as Myers has done nothing lately)

Team 4: 3-1, 8th in points (fortunate with matchups but Peyton/Demaryius combo has been working)

Overall, if Gronk comes back this week or next week I still have a shot at least in leagues 1, 2 and 4. Hoping for the best!

Gronk owner in my league is 1-3 and middle of the pack in scoring. He also has witten and thomas at TE. Qb is killing him. Capernick and Schaub

Not on the team plane to Cincinnati

2-2 and average in Pts. Thankfully I didn't get him in my other 2 leagues :) . Was targeting him also
Now 2-3 and all but out of the league. With a few teams 4-1, not likely to come back in 11 week season. Points are middle of the road. Oh well. Cant say Gronk didnt hurt me, he did. I know you cant blame 1 player but taking him in the 3rd rd when he'll end up missing 1/2 this fantasy season (if he's even back next week) just really tough to compete in this kind of format. When u consider all the stud WR's sitting there in rd 3 that all of us Gronk owners passed on....ugh

I have one Gronk team 4-1 with McGrath holding down the fort lol....come back soon please!

3-2 in my only non-IDP redraft with Gronk taken in the 3rd (14 team non-ppr), 5/14 in total scoring.

Key to the season so far was the RB-RB start with Mccoy/Murray avoiding some of the RB busts...went QB very late with Schaub/Pryor, making it possible to get Cook+Julius Thomas. Nicks and Decker holding it at WR.

Gronk could of course take this team to a championship level.

Drafted Gronk at 5.01 and fortunately sitting at 4-2. I've been flipping TEs in and out of the lineup to cover til Gronk comes back.....mostly Myers / Fleener / Reed.

Through week 6 (we will see if he actually plays tomorrow):

Team 1: 2-4, 11th in points

Team 2: 2-4, 10th in points

Team 3: 4-2, 8th in points

Team 4: 3-3, 10th in points

I was hanging on for a little while but now not looking good at all!!!!

This is my first team and first year playing in FPC...very interesting format. The playoff seeding and setup is unique, but one I am benefiting from. It has been frustrating from a W-L perspective, but despite being 4-6 I have an excellent shot at the #2 seed in league playoffs and automatic berth into championship round, based on total points.

Not only did I draft Gronk in the 3rd, but I drafted the suspended Gordon in the seventh. I also completely whiffed on my 2nd rounder (S-Jax) and a number of later picks.

To cover Gronk's absence, I took Olson in the 6th and lucked out with Julius Thomas in the 16th! I weathered the Gordon suspension and my busted draft picks by getting Stafford as the 13th QB off the board in the 10th round, and hit on a number of WRs in the mid- to late-rounds (V-Jax-4th, Antonio Brown-5th, Alshon Jeffery-11th, K. Wright-12).

Now that everyone is healthy (except for Cobb who I picked up off waivers last week), my team is amazingly deep. I honestly feel my biggest "problem" is picking the right players to start/bench. Whoa is me huh!

So, to answer your question, drafting Gronk seems to have gone well for me. I look forward to making a push towards the $250k! Good luck to you all!!!
