also, OT for DE match ups

Broncos MLB Nate Irving was forced from Sunday night's opener against the Colts with a lower leg injury, but later returned.
Eagles RT Allen Barbre suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's Week 1 win over the Jaguars.
Barbre is filling in at right tackle during Lane Johnson's four-game suspension.
edit: Eagles RT Allen Barbre has been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain.

further edit:

ESPN's Adam Caplan reports Eagles RT Allen Barbre (high-ankle sprain) is expected to undergo surgery that could "end his season."
Colts ILB Jerrell Freeman left Sunday night's opener against the Broncos with a hamstring injury.
Aaron Williams left Sunday's opener with concussion-like symptoms.
A source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter that the Texans fear a meniscus tear for Jadeveon Clowney that could require arthroscopic surgery.
49ers RCB Chris Culliver was forced from Sunday's game against the Cowboys with a concussion, and will not return.
With LCB Tramaine Brock (toe) also sidelined, the 49ers are down to Perrish Cox and fourth-round rookie Dontae Johnson at cornerback
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Chiefs believe ILB Derrick Johnson has a torn Achilles' tendon.
Chiefs LE Mike DeVito is out for the year with an Achilles' tendon tear.
Bills LB Keith Rivers was forced from Sunday's Week 1 game against the Bears with a groin injury.
The Bills have ruled him out for the rest of the game. Ty Powell has replaced Rivers on the weak-side.
Dolphins LB Dannell Ellerbe was forced from Miami's Week 1 game against the Patriots with a hip injury, and will not return.
The Dolphins are now missing all three of their starting linebackers, with Ellerbe joining Koa Misi and Philip Wheeler on the sideline. Ellerbe went down early in the first half
Rams LE Chris Long exited Sunday's Week 1 opener against the Vikings with a left ankle injury and is doubtful to return.

edit:

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Rams LE Chris Long will undergo ankle surgery and miss 8-10 weeks.

Rams placed LE Chris Long (ankle surgery) on injured reserve/designated to return.
Bengals WLB Vontaze Burfict suffered a concussion in Sunday's Week 1 game against the Bengals.
He went down in the second quarter on a hit of Joe Flacco.
Titans ILB Zach Brown exited Sunday's opener with a shoulder injury.
Jagaurs SS Johnathan Cyprien left Sunday's Week 1 game against the Eagles with a possible concussion and is done for the day.
Dolphins LB Koa Misi was forced from Miami's Week 1 game against the Patriots with an ankle injury, and will not return.
Misi went down in the first quarter, and was soon spotted in a walking boot

Falcons LT Jake Matthews is questionable to return after injuring his ankle in the second quarter.
Matthews was limping as he came out of the locker room for the second half, and is standing alone on the sideline. He is unlikely to return. Gabe Carimi is now in at left tackle.
edit:
Falcons LT Jake Matthews got "good news" from Monday's MRI on his injured ankle.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the "damage isn't significant" to Matthews' ankle, and he "could play Sunday if he's not too sore.

9/12 edit:

Falcons LT Jake Matthews (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 2.

Redskins NT Barry Cofield left Sunday's Week 1 game against the Texans with an ankle injury and will not return.
Cofield, the Redskins' starter at the nose in their 3-4, went down in the first half.

edit:

Redskins NT Barry Cofield has been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain.
Justin Durant has a groin injury. Return is questionable.

Not sure how strict you're being with this, Larry. You ok with "unofficial" updates on injuries? If so:

Just saw this on Twitter:

Sports DO @Sports_DOman
#Bengals Vontaze Burfict went through concussion protocol. Will likely be questionable through week until Friday. Expect him to play nxt wk
If you're just looking for official, game time stuff, then apologies for this post.

nah, I take everything -- people can vet that stuff out on their own.

in that particular case I'd be surprised if there's any way anybody would know if he's playing or not.

all those concussions follow pretty standard routine.

Coach Andy Reid confirmed ILB Derrick Johnson (torn Achilles') will miss the remainder of the season.

Titans ILB Zach Brown may be done for the season with a torn pectoral.
At least that's the fear coming directly from Brown

The Titans will turn to second-year pro Zaviar Gooden as their starting inside linebacker next to Wesley Woodyard.
Dolphins MLB Koa Misi is "out indefinitely" with an ankle injury.

Seahawks placed CB Jeremy Lane on injured reserve/designated for return.

Jadeveon Clowney is out 4-6 weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a torn lateral meniscus in his knee.

49ers CB Tramaine Brock's status for Week 2 is uncertain after Brock suffered a sprained toe in San Francisco's opener.
It sounds like he's dealing with a turf toe-like injury. A league source called Brock's availability "up in the air" for this Sunday's game against the Bears. San Francisco's secondary is already depleted after fellow starter Chris Culliver and slot corner Jimmie Ward both suffered Week 1 concussions.
9/12 edit:
49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said RCB Chris Culliver (questionable, concussion) is "good to go" for Sunday night's game against the Bears.
Culliver resumed practicing Thursday and is expected to be cleared. The 49ers will likely be without LCB Tramaine Brock (questionable, toe) this week
Falcons LT Jake Matthews got "good news" from Monday's MRI on his injured ankle.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the "damage isn't significant" to Matthews' ankle, and he "could play Sunday if he's not too sore.
edit:

ESPN Falcons reporter Vaughn McClure does not expect Falcons LT Jake Matthews (ankle) to play in Week 2 at Cincinnati.
there's a good chance Gabe Carimi will be his [Ryan] blind-side "protector" with Lamar Holmes at right tackle

Jason Pierre-Paul exited Monday night's Week 1 opener against the Lions with a neck injury.
JPP banged into his own teammates in the first quarter, appearing to jam his shoulder/neck area. He was in considerable pain and a bit woozy before walking off the field with team trainers. Pierre-Paul was later carted to the locker room
edit: looks like he'll be back in the game

Lions CB Bill Bentley left Monday night's Week 1 opener versus the Giants with a knee injury.
Bentley is the Lions' slot corner between outside cover men Darius Slay and Rashean Mathis
edit:

Lions slot CB Bill Bentley has been diagnosed with a torn ACL, is done for the season.

Titans ILB Zach Brown may be done for the season with a torn pectoral.
At least that's the fear coming directly from Brown

The Titans will turn to second-year pro Zaviar Gooden as their starting inside linebacker next to Wesley Woodyard.
Woodyard was already available in my league, and obviously Gooden was as well. Which is the better pickup to make?

Woodyard and not even close. He was in my eyes a LB2 already and should be on rosters in all but the absolute thinnest of leagues.

Lions OT Corey Hilliard is expected to miss the rest of the season with a foot injury.
Hilliard played 63-of-68 snaps at right tackle Monday night after starter LaAdrian Waddle exited with a calf injury. Hilliard held his own against Mathias Kiwanuka. He was expected to be the Lions' swing tackle this season. UDFA Cornelius Lucas is next man up. :
9/12 edit: Lions RT LaAdrian Waddle (calf) has been ruled out for Week 2.
Cowboys SLB Justin Durant is expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a groin injury.
rotoworld has him labeled slb, but I had thought they moved carter over there -- anybody watch that game?

if this gets wilber more snaps he might have some DL eligibility on some sites

Bucs placed CB Mike Jenkins on injured reserve with a torn pectoral, ending his season.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Cardinals OLB John Abraham (concussion) has left the team, and is contemplating retirement.
Abraham, 36, has suffered multiple concussions in the NFL, and has been experiencing memory loss for over a year. On Monday against the Chargers, Abraham came around the edge and banged his head/neck on RT D.J. Fluker while falling to the ground. He immediately exited the field
Cardinals DE Frostee Rucker is expected to miss Week 2 after suffering a calf injury in Monday's win over the Chargers.

Chiefs placed LG Jeff Allen (elbow surgery) on injured reserve, ending his season.
allen had been subbing at RT, but maybe that guy got his suspension lifted?

I'll have to check on that

Bucs RE Michael Johnson (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 2.
Raiders MLB Nick Roach (concussion) is not expected to play in Week 2.
Bucs placed LE Adrian Clayborn on injured reserve with a torn biceps, ending his season.

Bucs MLB Mason Foster exited Sunday's Week 2 game against the Rams with a shoulder injury and will not return.
Foster registered two tackles before leaving early in the first half. Dane Fletcher has replaced the downhill thumper at middle linebacker.

Berry was hurt in the first half
Giants CB Walter Thurmond III sustained a strained pectoral in Sunday's Week 2 loss to the Cardinals
Giants MLB Jon Beason is headed for an MRI on his troublesome right foot.
Beason left the stadium with a walking boot on, a major concern as he's battled right foot woes for months now. "Again the toe," said coach Tom Coughlin
Bucs DT Gerald McCoy exited Sunday's Week 2 game against the Rams with a broken hand and will not return.
McCoy exited early in the first quarte
Vontaze Burfict was forced from Cincinnati's Week 2 game against the Falcons with a neck stinger, and will not return.
Burfict, who suffered a concussion in Week 1, took a huge hit in the second half
Lions CB Nevin Lawson exited Sunday's Week 2 game with a foot injury and was pronounced "doubtful" to return.

Lions CB Nevin Lawson dislocated his ankle in Sunday's Week 2 loss at Carolina.
Lawson needed immediate surgery, which means the fourth-round rookie is likely done for the year
Titans LCB Jason McCourty was forced from Tennessee's Week 2 game against the Cowboys with a groin injury.
McCourty is technically "questionable" to return, but has spent the entire second half on the sideline without his helmet.

Bears DT Jay Ratliff suffered a concussion in Week 2 against the 49ers.
Charles Tillman suffered a triceps injury in Sunday night's Week 2 game against the 49ers.

edit: Bears will place CB Charles Tillman on injured reserve with a torn triceps, ending his season.
It's his second triceps tear in as many seasons. Rookie Kyle Fuller has been terrific through two games, but losing Tillman is a huge blow to Chicago's cornerback unit because it will likely force street free agent Kelvin Hayden into DC Mel Tucker's nickel package. Tim Jennings covers the slot, and Fuller plays outside
Bears FS Chris Conte was forced from Sunday night's game in the second quarter with a shoulder injury.
Giants CB Walter Thurmond III sustained a torn pectoral in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals and is out for the season.
Packers S Micah Hyde left Sunday's Week 2 win over the Jets with a knee injury.
Hyde hurt his left knee while returning a punt in the first half. He was replaced by rookie Ha Ha Clinton-Dix on defense.
The 49ers are "hopeful" RT Anthony Davis (hamstring) will resume practicing this week.
That "hope" comes after fill-in Jonathan Martin got embarrassed in Sunday night's loss.
Eagles ILB Mychal Kendricks exited Monday night's Week 2 game against the Colts with a calf injury and will not return.
Kendricks was hurt late in the third quarter and limped to the locker room. Casey Matthews is filling in next to DeMeco Ryans.
Colts DL Arthur Jones was carted off the field with a high-ankle sprain against the Eagles and will not return.

Redskins waived S Bacarri Rambo.
Vikings WLB Chad Greenway broke his hand in Week 2 against the Patriots.
It apparently wasn't an issue, as he played all 67 defensive snaps. Coach Mike Zimmer said Greenway's wrist is fine, and he should be out there Week 3 against the Saints. Greenway will likely just cast up and play his normal reps.

Cardinals placed OLB John Abraham on injured reserve with a concussion, ending his season.
NFL suspended DE Dion Jordan four games for violating the league's substance-abuse policy.
Jordan was on track for reinstatement this week after his previously imposed four-game PED suspension was lifted on Wednesday. He'll now serve an additional four games for testing positive for a substance of abuse. Jordan will be eligible to return in Week 7.

Chargers placed OLB Melvin Ingram (hip) on injured reserve/designated for return.
Lions CB Cassius Vaughn (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 3.
Vaughn was expected to take over for Nevin Lawson (I.R., ankle) as the slot corner this week. Danny Gorrer is expected to start instead. RT LaAdrian Waddle (calf) and LB Travis Lewis (quad) will miss the game as well.
Chiefs DB Ron Parker will start at safety against the Dolphins Week 3.
Parker opened the season at corner, but will switch back to safety with Eric Berry (ankle) set to miss Sunday's matchup with Miami. Parker played safety in college, and was used there at times during the offseason program. Berry is week-to-week with a sprained ankle.

Seeing Twitter mentions that Raiders SS Tyvon Branch has a broken foot.

My fantasy defense is taking a beating this season. (Tulloch is my LB3)

Whitehead moved to WILL and Lecy to Mid. Not sure that will continue. Not sure whitehead gets sub work -- he only got 4 snaps in week 1 as starter at SAM.

whitehead, I believe

how is it possible to tear your acl celebrating a sack?

I hope there's vid of that somewhere

edit: whitehead 42 snaps (79%) tulloch 21%

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJdBQVOLZw0
79% of snaps is encouraging. Only 4 tackles...less so. He had one silly monster game in preseason (like 10 tackles and 2-3 sacks or something), so he might still be worth a flier in deep leagues.
Levy is about to be come a monster!!! Whitehead should probably be the 1st pick up

Cardinals RCB Antonio Cromartie has been diagnosed with a hyperextended knee and bone bruise.

Cromartie didn't appear labored as he walked to the locker room, but it's a knee he's had operated on in the past. Jerraud Powers finished the game opposite Patrick Peterson.
Steelers OLB Jarvis Jones was forced from Sunday night's game against the Panthers with a wrist injury.
He's done for the night. Arthur Moats will replace Jones in base sets

SS Da'Norris Searcy was forced from the Bills' Week 3 game with an ankle injury.
He limped to the locker room in the third quarter
Lions S Don Carey was forced from Sunday's game against the Packers with a hamstring injury, and will not return.
Carey was playing nickel back against the Packers. . Gorrer and Mohammed Seisay [udfa rookie signed off ps 9/20] are now in the slot.

Lions MLB Stephen Tulloch tore his left ACL during Sunday's win over the Packers.
edit

Panthers SLB Thomas Davis is dealing with an undisclosed injury, and won't be re-evaluated until Friday.
Coach Ron Rivera declined to say what Davis hurt in Sunday's loss, but did allow that it wasn't his three-times repaired ACL. Since he's not practicing this week, Davis can be all but ruled out for Week 4.
Redskins placed S Duke Ihenacho on injured reserve with a fractured heel, ending his season.

Vikings WLB Chad Greenway is now dealing with a fractured rib in addition to a fractured hand.

Patricia Traina , Inside Football, Giants Reporter

Falcons RT Lamar Holmes exited Atlanta's Week 4 game against the Vikings with a foot injury.
The Falcons have lost three offensive linemen in this one: Holmes, C Joe Hawley, and LG Justin Blalock. TE Levine Toilolo is now forced to play right tackle.
edit:
Falcons placed RT Lamar Holmes on injured reserve with a foot injury, ending his season.
49ers RT Anthony Davis left Sunday's Week 4 game against the Eagles with a knee injury and will not return.

Williams was immediately ruled out, Bills LB Nigel Bradham left Sunday's Week 4 game against the Texans with a knee injury.
