Carter's boxing record from boxrec.com.
He had some decent wins on his resume. A first round TKO of Emile Griffith and a win over future heavyweight champ Jimmy Ellis (as a middleweight). He also beat legendary trainer George Benton in a split decision.
Carter lost his one title shot vs. Joey Giardello. He was pretty much an "opponent" for the rest of his career.
