What did we learn in week 4? (1 Viewer)

Oakland is just simply terrible. Start whichever defense is playing them, even over the "safe" plays like Carolina, Seattle, SF.

That my fantasy draft was as bad as I thought. I only have two guys I can count on right now. That said

Learned that my gamble on Coradelle Patterson as my #2 WR was a poor one

That Reggie Bush as a #2 RB is not going to work out, and I should have gone RB-RB in the fist two rounds

That Cordarelle Patterson is a fantasy BUST.
Amen bro. He helped me to win title #5 last season with his late surge, and now this year he's helping me to be toilet-bowl bound. I am stunned at how little he did today, losing catches to Jarius Wright?!

Like every year since Donald Driver....there's value in those old WR legs. Wayne's getting some targets and Smith is producing great.

That no amount of research, stat crunching, analysis, podcasts, websites, forums, etc etc etc can EVER truly guarantee you a win. It's all based on what happens on the field on that day, at that moment, at that instant the player gets the ball.

You just learned this today? How, exactly, up until now, did you think fantasy football worked?

Hunter was all hype

Don't trust rookie WRs it's to up and down.

There isn't any dominate RBs

The NFL is unpredictable

Cam Newton,McCoy,Fitz are the busts at their

Adp.

Draft depth and sit your stars during a slump. The McCoy/Lacy/Peterson problem looks okay if you've got Joique/Ridley/Hill/Bradshaw/Asiata on your bench and you can play the match ups.

Of course, that requires you to use Bloom's favorite strategy "draft the right guys".

I learned I am an idiot for drafting Ball over Murray in some leagues but I think I have learned that lesson now 4 weeks in a row.....

Hunter Whisenhunt's rep as an offensive genius was all hype
FTFY.

Seriously, I think the problem is with the TENN offense as a whole rather than Hunter in particular (says the disgruntled Wright owner). Outside of Walker and maybe Sankey, there is simply no fantasy value there so far. I can't imagine it will stay this bad, but Wright is on my bench until further notice.

After the last two weeks, I think we've learned that CAR is no longer safe. They've been humiliated by two decent but unspectacular offenses.

Ted Lange as your Bartender said:
Luck was a draft day value, no matter where selected
I learned that I shouldn't have drafted Brady over Luck. I learned a similar lesson in Week 3, Week 2 and Week 1.

That fantasy football is still unpredictable. In two of my dynasty leagues I had major bye/injury problems and it looked like 2 sure losses I ended up being one if the highest scoring teams this week. In my other dynasty I was going against a guy with major injury/bye problems and lost because of Royal, Asiata, and the Dallas defense of all things. On too next week!!!!

Waiting to draft a QB has worked out ok.

While there turned out to be some nice ww options, draft day TEs were not as deep as we thought.

Hell, Draft day Rbs and Wrs were not as deep as we thought either.

The problem is the league is completely flipped upside down. THe dominant fantasy performances are coming from everyone EXCEPT the consensus top 100.

I bet if someone had an easy way to calculate it, the top 100 ADP are being outscored by the 101-200 (if you take out the QBs...Manning, Rodgers, etc insulates them a bit but the rest of the positional players are out of whack).

That Dallas has finally morphed into a running team. And the notion of them being historically bad defensively were wrong.

The Falcons are still struggling on the road.

Maybe, just maybe Chip Kelly's offense is becoming more predictable.

Teddy Bridgewater is legit.

Is still? Try more unpredictable than ever!
