The second annual TimLeeg Magic Football Challenge has come to pass. The teams have been drafted and, yet again the draft was shtick laden. There were some winners and some losers.... but overall it should be a solid season.

I'd like to open the season with the first of what will hopefully be many updates from TimLeeg by Official TimLeeg News Correspondent Andy Zejak. Andy took a good look at the draft results and offers up his professional analysis for those who were curious how the draft shook out this season.

You could just split up your $100 between those that sign up and save yourself some more embarrassment.

 
I would like to give this a shot, heck I gotta do better than I do in timdrafts. I am a bit worried about the 2 hour clock though, cause of my location.will probably have to pm a bit, which is cool....but if a longer clock could be done, that would be awesome.

I am still waiting to hear back from Unlucky. I need to confirm that he will run the league again before setting up dates and stuff like that. We will not have a draft until all participants have paid so this comes first. If Ynlucky won't do it, we'll need to find some other commissioner and way of collecting the monies.

Tim, I run a bunch of leagues, just have everyone paypal it. Pony express if folks must send a check. Never have any issues.

 
Unlucky is willing to run it if we accept his format from last year. I will post that when I can get to a conputer

That's 11. Last year we had 16. However, I am open to even more (perhaps up to 20) if everybody's good with it. What the hell? It's all in good fun, and I can say with accuracy that I couldn't do worse (unless I go completely winless this time around!)

My proposal is to begin this draft on Monday August 12- that's 2 weeks from this coming Monday. But everyone would need to pay Unlucky before that date- you cannot take part in this draft unless Unlucky has confirmed your payment of $100.00.

 
I think anyone who was in last year should be grandfathered in, then the remaining slots should be granted via rap battle tournament.

In - and I call BS on the non grandfathered status. You should give 48 hours to those in it last year IMHO.
