My daughter is in second grade. We sat down last night and did the hour of code together using Anna and Elsa.
She did a really nice job with it and seemed to enjoy it. She is a smart kid who is struggling with reading a bit (she can read but does not use the rules the teachers give her so she guesses at words or gives up when it is too tough for her) ETA: I think this would be a good way to keep her motivated
Anyway, where would I find info about coding so that I can explore it with her a little more than the building blocks of code.org or scratch. Obviously we will start with that, but I dont even know what program you would write a code in
Any help would be appreciated. I am not looking for a backdoor code to win my fake football championship
