Looking for Teams for my Free Online Dynasty League with IDPs (1 Viewer)

Hey everyone! I’m looking for some folks who would make at least a 2-3 year commitment to free to play in my online dynasty league with IDPs on ESPN. We won’t be playing for money, but pride and bragging rights are definitely on the line. This is the inaugural year of this league, so everyone will start on level ground. Ideally, I would like this to be a 10-14 team league. We already have 7 teams committed, so we are just looking to fill the other spots. Also note that ESPN free leagues don’t support dynasty settings per se, so I will have to do a lot manually to make it work. Rest assured that I will always be transparent and let you know what I’m doing and how I’m doing it. Roster sizes will be dependent upon how many teams we get to play, but I would like to make it such that you have the ability to stash a good many players who have future promise.

MAJOR DETAILS:

  • The draft is Saturday, August 30th at 2:00 PM CST.
  • Draft is snake style.
  • You must start the following number of players every week in each position:
QB 1

RB 2

WR 2

FLEX (RB/WR/TE) 1

TE 1

K 1

LB 3

DL 3

DB 3

  • This is a 6 point per passing touchdown league.
  • We have a FAAB blind bid waiver system.
  • Playoff weeks will be 14 and 15, but will extend to 14, 15, and 16 if we get 12 or more teams.

Thanks Flynn! I added you. Anyone else want in? We still have a few spots to fill! I really want to get this finalized in the next few days so that I can send out the league constitution to everyone who is playing!

Great! We are full if everyone keeps their commitment to play. Sven and Flynn, I still need you to sign up. Tray and Hector, I just send out your invites! If I don't hear from those who haven't signed up in a day or two, I'll open the spots back up!

 
This was really dirty.

If you were going to cut the league down from 14 to 12 you should've messaged me instead of cutting 2 teams 30 minutes before the draft, it's really just common courtesy. I'd checked the site every day, so I know it wasn't because I was inactive.

 
@chickenwing, I take full responsibility. I thought since you were not responding to my e-mails, you probably had just grown disinterested. You are telling me the ESPN e-mails never came through, and I believe you, as I see no reason for you to be dishonest about that.

It did not even occur to me to come back here and try to contact you. I am new to these forums, and I did not even know you could message each other directly until you messaged me on Saturday. But even then, I should have come back to the forum and posted something on the topic just to see if you would respond. That was a mistake on my part and I'm very sorry I didn't do my due diligence.

So, can I make it up to you by helping you find another league like mine to play in?

I want to apologize, I shouldn't have vented on the forum, especially given the fact you went out of your way to apologize. In all fairness I'm guessing the emails got sent to my spam folder which gets deleted immediately. Would love to join in next season if you have any open spots or if you end up with any orphans.

It's hard to find a good league, joined a money dynasty league and demolished the competition week one. The owner dropped me today to add one of his friends so I'm just frustrated in general with finding people to play with.

Again, just wanted to say that you're a class act compared to most of the managers.

Thank you for those words! I really do try to do good by all I encounter, and I am still very sorry that things didn't work out for you to be in our league this year. Should someone drop out at the end of this year or beyond, you will be the first person I contact to see if you would like to replace them. Are you best reached on these forums, or is there another form of contact you would prefer?

Hey there! Still interested in playing dynasty with us? I've had a team owner decide dynasty is just not for him. If still interested, message me, and I'll give you some more details about the team you would be taking over!
