Special Rules:

Draft Position: You get to choose your draft position. For the first year of this league, the order in which owner’s get to choose their draft position will be randomized. Going forward, the order in which owner’s get to choose their draft position will go by how owner’s finished the previous season. The owner that finishes last in the previous season’s standings will get to choose first. Then it continues going through the owner’s until it gets to the league champion of the previous season in which he is given the remaining draft spot that was not chosen.

Weekly Lineup: You get more flexibility with your lineup choices. The only lineup requirements that you have are as follows; you must start at least 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE. The remaining 5 positions are Flex spots where you can choose who to start. Three of the Flex positions you can choose to either start a RB or WR and the other two Flex positions you can choose to start a RB, WR, or TE. This gives a very interesting twist to the league because you can set your lineup anyway you want.

Waiver Budget: Instead of worrying about your position on the waiver wire, you get to choose which players you go after and spend the big bucks for during the season. Everyone starts the season with a $500 budget. Throughout the season you can bid on the hot free agents on the market and can spend however much you want. At the beginning of every season every owner starts over with another $500 and the remaining money left over from last season does not carry over.

Standings: You get to choose who you compete with for the division title. For the first season, the divisions will be randomized. Going forward, the three division winners from the previous season get to choose which teams they want in their division. Out of the three owner’s choosing, the owner that had the best record and received the #1 seed for the playoffs last season will choose first. Then it will go to the #2 seed last season, then to the #3 seed. The owner’s continue to rotate their choices until the divisions are full. To make this a more fair rule, the standings will be determined after the draft order is release but before the draft starts.

Sleeper Keeper: This is a unique rule where you get the chance to keep up to two players from the previous season in which you either draft in rounds 13-16 or picked up via free agency during the season. The sleeper keeper can only be kept for one year and (if drafted and not dropped during the season) is kept in the round that he was originally drafted in. If you choose to keep a player that you picked up via free agency during the season then he will be kept in the last round of the draft.
